Well, could it be that the crossfade is set to off? Try moving the modwheel, or drawing in CC#1 in your sequencer.
If that doesn't work I don't know what the problem could be. I've checked with GS2.5 users, and they aren't experiencing any problems, so...could it be that Vsampler does something wrong while converting?
I know that Kontakt changes some crossfade settings.
