OK. Great! Someone else has now seen it! I'm not crazy. I can understand you not getting it to completely cancel. It only has to be off an incredibly small amount fot it not to cancel.

I don't mind racks introducing timing errors. I can easily go back, using this method, and compensate for them. The source of my frustration is the fact that when I make adjustments and save the edit, the adjustments are effectively gone next time I open the edit.

The other big question: Which track is getting off? The audio or midi? Which one is "correct".

Any chance of this appearing in a future bug report from you pHz? (you are a beta tester, right?)

I know you probably can't comment on this, but has this been addressed in T2?

Another interesting tidbit I just collected:
I had the same test edit loaded and was testing pure audio tracks(no rack involved) to see if they react the same way. They don't exhibit the close/reopen time shift.

More weirdness: The drum tracks from my earlier test were still there and were offset from closing/reopening T. When I nudged the newly rendered audio track (nothing in common with the drum tracks) it realigned the drum tracks.

It's almost like T has to be reminded of how everything should be lined up.

Does anyone know if this issue is being sorted?

I would like to know as well.
I assume it will be addressed in both T1 and surely T2. It seems to be a major bug. :(

Edit:
I recently had a strange problem where the tracks were out of sync after freezing 3 tracks within a project.Restarting Tracktion twice did not help.

No racks were used. Also the frozen tracks were silent. After the third restart all was well.Odd. :?
