I'm a big fan of Carlos' stuff. The Secrets of Synthesis record is well worth picking up, in my opinion. Also, if you like the Clockwork Orange soundtrack, make sure to get her version, and not the official soundtrack. Hers has a version of "Timesteps" that takes up nearly an album side, as well as her version of "The Thieving Magpie" and a wonderful track called "Country Road" that makes nice use of the "Singing in the Rain" motif.
Also, her recent "Heaven and Hell" album has a re-worked sequel called "A Clockwork Black". A great record.
You might also be interested in Beaver and Krause's 'The Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music" which is a sort of instructional album on synthesis and electronic music. There was a sequel to that released, as well.
