I don't know why you're bothered about WC's gender when this thread is about her music.

Testosterone has no effect on altering gender identity. I assume you are male - if you were injected with loads of the estrogen all you'd develop are bitch tits. In fact testosterone when used by body builders converts to estrogen and that's why they fear gyne. Gender identity is a lot more complex than plugging someone full of hormones. You seem interested in this issue so I'd suggest researching the abundance of info available on the web.

Yes, she did music for The Shining too. Kubrik liked her work. She pioneered synth music and popularised Moog synths.

Err, Bach, yes.

And mighty fine recordings they are.
She's also a first class sound engineer and a philosopher. You should read her opinions about balanced cables ! That's really cathartic.

I'd like to hear that album. I didn't know it existed. I have the Switched on Bach/Brandenberg/By Request albums. She was present during the early development of the Moog. A fantastic musician and important person in the history of synthesis, IMHO.

Hah, cool. I just remember seeing Clockwork Orange in the cinema, and the intro music always sticks in my mind. They also used it in the Simpsons when Bart has been conditioned by aversion-therapy not to take cupcakes from the fridge.
