Yeah, it'll be good for epointz collectors as well since for every referal you can download $5. worth of sounds!

Good thing we'll soon have thousands of sounds on there. ;)
Just so you know, it's harmonygardens 8)

Purchasing epointz is a great idea. sure you save some cash on the purchase but it also allows you to save up for something, and help SR at the same time.

I know I want SR gear, I know I can't afford it all yet, but if I can put $10 or $20 aside each month then I can get what I want a lot quicker than leaving that money in my bank account and probably spending it on beer instead.. :)

Philharmonik here I come.. :P

Oh - I love the idea of buying ePointz as long as I can use them on sale items etc..., and as long as there's no limit to the amount I can use on one purchase (ie I can store up full purchase price in ePointz).

I would probably be converting amounts into ePointz right now in preparation for Philharmonik and the Brass Sonic Capsule.

If - for some amazing reason I'm not going to want to jump in for Philharmonik (hard to believe I know) I might be a little stuffed I guess. Oh wait - how stupid - I'm going to want the ST2XL sounds. I've only got the engine now.

I'm sure I'll work something out. :hihi:

I wonder if SR and my firm can link up so that a regular part of my wages can be paid in epointz... :hihi:

Have your job deduct a portion of your pay directly into your esoundz account? We'll work on that. ;)

Good feedback guys! Thanks.

Downloadable sounds (and instant purchase) is great news.

don't restrict on small sounds as a lot (and more on futur) of people have a broadband connection.

When the next group buy for the mega bundle of downloadable samples? :hihi:

One more thing: you should (that will give you an advantage over competition) give different format for downloadable samples (like the capsule). So if i buy your 50mg piano for ST i have it too for Kontakt and NN-XT. That would be great.

Do esoundz members get discounts on larger hard drives? :hihi: SS2, ST2, Philharmonik coming and now downloadable soundz... My external drive is only a few months old and it's already getting full.. :?

I think it's time to purge the Acid loops directory..

Some sounds will be available in multi format and some will be specific format. Sometimes, some sounds will be available in one format but then made available in another which you can download for free if you bought the first one. It all depends on if it is put into the same "esoundz product" because you'll get the ability to download it three times. You can either use that as back ups or you can download three different format versions of it if they are available within that product code... even if it is added later.

This coming week we're opening downloadable esoundz!!!! It will start with mostly SampleTank 2 sounds since most of our customers use that format. But, we'll have more sample formats than we even normally do in not too long.

That's great news (again)

A last thing to add:
Even if it will be a lot of work, don't forget to put a short audio demo for each sound.
This short preview will give us a top shopping experience. (Personnally i like to know what i buy before actually buying it 8) and audio demo for sample library is essential)

Thanks! And also thanks for being so present to listening/answering all our questions. That count!

Looking forward to it! We'll see what's left after paying the bills and bringing home the Truth.

I am sure I will buy some sounds there. :D

We plan to have a riff demo for every sound. But, you're right that it is a lot of work. So, as we are getting ready to put about 4 gigs of SampleTank 1 and 2 sounds on line in the next few days (ooowweeee) about half of them or less will already have mp3 demo riffs and the rest of them we have some people who will be spending time making riff demos for them and we'll update it as we go. If you know you want the sound before the demo is up you can at least get it and if you want to wait then that's okay too. There will be quite a lot of sounds with demos in the first place.

One of the things that will be available is all of Sonic Synth 1's individual sounds in ST1 format ala carte. Also some of the original eROM sounds in ST1 format. But, also sounds from the Squids Tron Collection and unreleased ST2 sounds including outtakes from Sonik Synth 2 and more.

Also, coming soon will be native support for Kontakt 2 and Battery 2, Reason 3, HALion 3, Project 5 rev 2, Motif ES8, GarageBand and more. This is going to be awesome.

This sounds absolutely retarded, but I hope you will offer some windchime samples.

Seriously, I'd pay a couple bucks for a set of good chimes, since I don't have any.

Post

Wind chimes? Sure. That's not a bad request at all. Every instrument is game.

Downloadable soundz coming soooooon. Real soon.

Squids -
Forgive me for not getting into the latest group buy - just have way too many commitments.
However - I'm sure I can cough up for some downloadable sounds - so when will they be up?
