Well, I've just ordered an Emu 0404 (£59 + £7 p&p, thanks Inta Audio) so all those you told me that it works well with Tracktion had damn well better be telling the truth, else I'll send the boys round...

If that's the PC, PCI card version, you shouldn't need to.
Go to the settings tab, click the "show driver" button (or whatever its called).
Set your buffer size.
Close the driver panel.
Hit the "restart asio device" button in Traction.
it works here, anyway.
