I agree with Hans. Which is kind of like agreeing with Jens, but they are two different peoples. This means, for me, that Hans is right and Jens agrees with Hans and I, which means I am also right and could really mean that Jens was right all along, except that Hans may ultimately be wrong, which would make me wrong as well, but since I am right, so is Jens and there it is.jens wrote:Cheers, Hans

I would say "ambibollox" is the favourite on here - not my personal favourite though and I don't think it represents any kind of consensus that's applicable to any other arbitrary collection of people. Personally I just do what ever genre I feel like at the time. I think that music deliberately designed to appeal to a particular audience has less merit than music that is done out of sincere self-expression and which has it's own raison d'etre (he said pretentiously) - just my $0.02

I guess when you express this in Chinese / Mandarin, then it sounds perfectly logical, right? or are you just visiting Beijing and don't speak the language?...xander wrote:I agree with Hans. TVD wrote:Exactly! It's what they (including you) prefer. That makes it popular. Am I wrong?jens wrote:what will they count for? like I said: I e.g. voted for my least popular genre because I think it's what most people prefer round here - but
a.: I could be completerly wrong
b.: other people might vote for what they personally prefer because the understood the question in a different way.
BTW, I also meant electronic as in synths, drum machines, samplers, and music technology itself.
But I DID NOT vote for what I prefer - instead I voted for what I think is popular for most the others round here...
Didn't I manage to make this clear?

I voted 'Techno' because at least half a dozen of the other options are just variants of techno with different drum patterns.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."
