I just figured out several things. But when I tried to post this morning at 2:30, the server was down. Fortunately I have this anal habit of copying long posts so that the 1 in 7 crash-on-the-way-to-posting doesn't make me retype....so I inserted what other people said in the middle to not appear as ignoring them....am I overdoing the BB etiquette thing???
All the MIDI event data is visible in the bottom pane, and it includes and can change the Measure:beat:tick Velocity, etc....which I found between my last post and when

So that answers THAT wish list item.
THere's a little button in that pane that says "INSERT PROGRAM CHANGE", and this ENORMOUS window full of Program names comes up.
Seems to me (I know, this horse is LONG dead, but....) that the contents of this list should...,
as hexman said between my last post and this one
....."be somewhere" that I can edit, if not IMPORT. Then I could put MY synth programs in it. Furthermore, it should be able to associate cc0, 32, etc for bank changes RIGHT IN THE LIST!!!!!
But I get it , not one of my choices

if i want to move the first note 1 tick i click the note & chainge the end box 1 tick!
that way there is no need to turn snap off aswell!

My JV1010 is a real synth, and while I understand that under the patch name lies a number, I like seeing "Muted Gtr", "D50 Organ", or "Mixed Rhodes".....means more to me than 59, 2, and 14.Real synths don't have patch names. They have numbers ... real REAL synths don't even have patches
But I get it , not one of my choices
