Just a quick thought, but this is the kind of conversation that gets things done. Kind of like it used to be, eh?
Anyway, I personally "feel" the new MIDI editor is alot smoother. It seems more accurate and easy to place things. I haven't messed alot with it, but I do really like it. I'm sure it will be improved even more over time. But overall, a vast improvement.
My only worry is this. I wonder how much Jules actually re-wrote the actual MIDI HANDLING of T2. I know the editor was redone from scratch, but was anything done to the actual handling of MIDI, internally? This could easily be the root of many of the complaints about the editor. Just a thought.
