I get it now.

I thought he was having sync problems with a plugin.

We could actually start a new genre of music, all recorded at 41, 82, or 164 BPM -- whatever syncs up with the noise.

What should we call such a genre?

I thought the hiss is a new feature and racked my head what does it do. Silly me.

You know if the hiss was set to the tempo, it would be tolerable.

By the way, I get that its a demo, but I want to know how it will help me make music. If I cant use it to find out, then it is a "useless" demo. It is just wasteing hard drive space and Im no closer to buying it. I can only assume that I dont need the new features as I cant find out for my self. I mean, sure I looked at them but.....That doesnt do much for me.

Maybe someone I know will buy it and I can try it out.

how the HELL does the demo not let ue know how it will help you make music?

i'm astounded.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Im not playing with you. It really isnt a big deal. I will just wait for the release.

You guys think im bashing T2. Im not. I just find the hiss to be like fingernails on a chalkboard. Its just not worth trying it out to me. This is largley because I really like T1 as it is though.

I read the features. Thier cool, but mostly dont help me much (due to how I work). Some seem like they will help (like loop recording) but I aint gonna try them cuz the hiss sucks.

Please dont be offended. I am not here to troll, I was just frustrated that they choose this way to limit the demo. I totaly agree with whoever said that if it was a 30 day trail, I would likely be hooked, and have to buy. Its not. No big deal, but I wont be trying it.

I am enjoying reading about it from you guys.

I wonder how many of the strong supporters here dont really have the hiss to deal with though....If you know what I mean...wink, wink.

Just moving along ...

What exactly is the point of adding hiss anyways?

Post

makes perfect sense to me. there are a billion approaches to handling demonstration versions, all perfectly valid. i think what they've done is fine and some people are being, frankly, quite pathetic about it.

the fact that you can both save AND load projects is a miraculously generous touch. it's got to be crippled enough to make you buy it.

I'd rather have hiss than not be able to save. Sometimes it takes making something complex to realize the value in software, and if I could save an edit to come back to later I wouldn't play with the demo as much. I just want to be able to buy it now, but the hiss is better than some alternatives.

I'm with Todd.

I can't be bothered to use T2 until it can be unlocked. I *will* be buying in any case, but I have no use for the demo.
