if you're happy with a third party plugin then I think the Betabugs crew do a stereo panner like you describe with a cute visual x/y gui.sidhu wrote:Adding another panner plugin with dual pan mode for stereo tracks panning (not balancing as it now is..)

Rendering Groups.
I was hoping to be able to render a group track, instead of freezing it, to mantain volume pan control. But T1 gives the error 'no clips to render' which means that we now need to export audio and import. Rendering of groups should also be an option. quicker.

note : dunno is its working with T2. Demo restriction does not let you render.

Just insert a blank MIDI clip on the group track, (press "G") and you can render it in T1..sidhu wrote:Rendering Groups.

oh.. thats excellent! even witihn a track that has only audio coming to it ? Can i also insert a blank audioclip ? can the midi clip be of any length ? I also read, i think, that we can have audio and midi on the same track..

MIDI & audio on the same track doesn't seem crazy to me any more: now it seems crazy to restrict things like most apps do.

Not working ears! inserting a midi clip and rendering will render that reack only.. and since theres no audio on this track, i get a blank track ? i want all tracks coming to the group track to be rendered. Why ?
Have 2 tracks of guitar riffs recorded. sending these to a group track. Applying EQ, Compression, Reverb, Automation etc. on group track. Now I want to render this track. just like I would Freeze it. Freezing this group track freezes all tracks coming to it. (though i have doubt here thats not been answered before)
