Yeah your right. The option is actually 'Use a per-track view for input devices'. Better for me because I couldn't figure out how to assign both my MIDI keyboard & UC16 controller to the same track! I was recording automation on another track & then assigning it's output to the channel the soft synth was recorded onto!

I think the 'music sucks' campaign is a huge mistake by Mackie. Too easy to go from 'music sucks' to 'tracktion sucks' - just way too negative. I know they are trying to be cool, but IMHO this doesn't do it. Too close to home. - s

No way. I think the campain is a nice break from the normal. It matches Tracktion well. Everybody knows Tracktioneers are .

It was pretty funny. I think you have to appreciate Mackie's sense of humor - they've always been a bit weird. Try reading their manuals some time, you'll see. As a matter of fact, I have a mechanical pencil on my desk here, that I got from them at a trade show last year. Here's what it says:

This nifty Mackie Designs pencil is free, but special Neodymium/Krypton/Bat Smegma replacement lead refills cost $39.50 each...and are always on back order.

You have to take a company that deals it bat smegma very seriously.
