hey ... im as guilty as anyone of having a dig at ron when he deserves it (which he actually doesnt in this case) ... mostly its good humoured and the only really nasty stuff here wasnt actually from a 'regular' so some of your comments lee are unwarranted i think ...
... on top of which (and this IS IN NO WAY excusing the attacks) your style of response here ... while well intentioned i know ... is only going to inflame things and can only serve to stengthen the perception that this is not a good forum to visit ... which for those of us genuinely trying to help folks out while still getting back some of the 'old' tracktion atmosphere (whatever that was) is pretty irritating TBH ...
... to answer the original question ... i think the best bet at the moment is (as has been said) to check your 'my mackie' page fairly often ... any updates will no doubt appear there first prior to any official announcements ... i would hope that mackie will put some kind of mechanism in place to mail registered users on new releases at some point but i dont actually know whether that will happen ...
... of course ... if any of us with mackie contacts hear anything 'officially' im sure we will let everyone here know as soon as we can anyway ...

lharless and semiquaver,
You guys both joined this forum in March of this year. Had you been around last fall, you'd better understand why this happens. It's a lot better than it was back then, but a lot of forum members have long memories.
