sooo true.
if i hear eyeopener one more time i just might puke. i hated the original crappy track that was sampled and i can't stand all of the crappy remixes. i think i remember reading an interview with brisk when he said the track took him like two hours to make and it was a kinda joke track that he put out just to make some money. i notice that scott brown is still doing this type of thing with soo many other crappy euro tracks as well.

I do produce, but haven't put out any tracks as of yet. I'm in no rush, and when I do start putting stuff out, i'd rather it be good than just ok. I dunno, i'm pretty picky about the stuff i'll play out, so at the very least i should be that picky about the stuff i'm writing too. Anyways, stuff's on the way ;)

cool, can't wait to hear it. post a notice on the hulla board when you've got a new release to promote. like i said, it seems that a lot of the local djs are starting to really get into the harder stuff nowadays.

Yeah it's good to see that people are starting to get into the harder stuff in Tdot. I've been doing the freeform thing for 5 years now, but at least now there's an audience for it. I've never really been into the Scott Brown or Brisk stuff tbh - they're good producers and engineers but at the end of the day i don't much like what they're doing musically. I don't wanna hear a track that sounds like a million other tracks, cuz whats the point, if u know what i mean. Same reason you'll never see me playing a hixxy or breeze and styles track. Again, they're fine for what they are, I just don't like cookie-cutter music.

Anyways, point is that a lot of North American hardcore djs have really gone the freeform route lately. AC's doing amazing work, Sunrize is awesome as always, and Blizzard Boys are doing really unique tunes too. Let's hope it keeps up... :)

Thanks. Yeah, I'll check out some of the sunrize stuff. I've really been impressed with the recent AC Slater stuff that I've heard.

Believe it or not, even Scott Brown has been putting out the odd freeform/gabba track here and there and he now always ends his sets with 20 minutes of hardstyle by producers like neophyte, Endymion or Tommyknocker (he's also been co-producing tracks with these guys as well for a few years now).
