The native verb sounds much like FreeVerb to me.. perfectly useable actually, though obviously not in the same league as a convolution based plug. I quite like it for dubby snare hits..

Sirius' FreeverbToo is imo still one of the best reverbs around and it is based on Jezar's freeverb algo - not at all the same league! :shrug:

What about using impulses of hardware reverbs such as;


Alesis, EMT244, Eventide, Lexicon, Quantec-yardstick ect...........
