Not really, you don't need two different takes, just
move the clone backward or forward in time.
If you like applying groves, this can be used
creatively.
Black text on a white canvas, do racist people close their eyes when they read a book?

but there are allready plugins that do this?

its a phaze effect (& IMO a nasty one at that)

but if you make 3 copys pan 2 of them fully & set 1 abit + & 1 abit - then its a quite cool stereo effect

but for the realness you need a minimum of 2 takes so thay are the same but with non identical spectral graphs

Eq and transient shaping. Having extra
material never hurts, but you don't have to.

The realness comes from applying the groove
by hand, infinite control.

ahh i get you now :dog:

i'm so lazy now i forgot about the old days before i had vocalists

yes verry good workaround for not getting a phazing effect would be to chop it down word for word & randomise then all slightly

sorry for being so narrow minded :(

but its still the best way around it

if you dont have acess to the vocalist

i wouldent use it (unless i wanted that mad phazing effect that buster rhymes uses to make a line pass through your head

but that would be only 2 takes fully paned & slighty offset

but compleatly f**ks the phazing in the mix verry hard (well for me anyway) to fix a mix that is out of phaze

@jens or any others that are good with fixing bad phazing in a drum track

click the link to my site go to the demos link & listen to cantstop & give any tips you have on fixing the phazing on the drum samples

plz plz plz

:)
