I'm going to give a small "rant" here.
What pisses me off is when people stereotype religion based on extremists or on one major leader. I don't like the Pope either. But I'm Christian, not Catholic. And I don't like the TV evangelists for the most part. They give Christians a bad name. I don't like people who kill "because God told them so".
So many people don't read ANYTHING into the subject. They just choose to take what they openly see and judge based on that. Well, they are mis-informed. That's usually not representative of the whole lot.
And one more thing. People get offended here on KVR when someone tries to post from a Chrisitian perspective. They get mad when Christian posters have links to the Passion Of The Christ movie website. They get their panties in a wad about people who believe differently then they do. They criticize and say they don't want someone's religion forced on them. Yet they openly do it in return? What hipocrits! It just gets me that they want tolerance but don't want to give it themselves.
IIR, this isn't directly at you necessarily. But it's a rant about KVR in general. Now, about preventing people from being "brainwashed" is a little bit unfair. First, you've stated it all as a mystery. Well, a mystery means it could be true, and may not be. You've stated your side on this, but it's simply that, YOUR side. That doesn't mean that the other side is brainwashed. Same as assuming that if you believe in god that you are mentally ill. It's unfairly presumptuous. And simply unfounded. Yes, it's your opinion and I don't care if you share it. But to keep stating an opinion as fact bothers me.
All this aside, IIR. I do respect you musically tremendously, and I'll be working on your song tonight! Yes, it's a hard part, so we'll see how it goes. Any particular reason you are doing the song? Or just to see if you can. Doing a cover, perhaps?!?! I'll let you know how it turns out!

And also, I do believe that my Christian beliefs are fact. It only makes sense. Why believe something like that when you don't know it to be true? But the difference is that I won't force it to someone as a fact unless they ask. Especially here on a music forum. Same with you. I have no problem with you thinking that your side is fact. I expect you to think that. Just be careful as to stating things as the ultimate fact by insulting the other side. Peace, ya'll!
