really funny how when that happens people start with the companys gone and will never will be seen again.

also a number of new presets, I find them to sound as excellent as the ones in the current factory banks.
Been testing/abusing the mac vst version all day and I can't find any shortcomings. He estimated the AU version to be finished within a month or so meaning sylenth1 2.0 will hit your apple logic this summer
I don't know if he's returning to this forum soon though, he's full-time occupied with the development, sales, everything of sylenth. and he sure does one heck of a great job on his product!

Anyone knows what the update will cost?

Unless there is something absolutely fantasically NEW from the current version, I would think it should be a free update to current users.DrGonzo wrote:Anyone knows what the update will cost?
Especially since the major feature being added/changed (a non SE version with new GUI) was something mentioned at/before the announcement of the group buy.

Since I'm waiting for a version that I can actually USE (and not have stutter in my host) it shouldn't be costing me ANYTHING.DrGonzo wrote:Anyone knows what the update will cost?

Some information posted here from the developer would have been somewhat more professional, with a fuller picture of what's what for us all. Perhaps it would have taken up too much dev time...
Jason Taverner doesn`t exist.

You may be correct, but free x.0 updates in commercial software is something that I wouldn't describe as common.1-2-Many wrote:Unless there is something absolutely fantasically NEW from the current version, I would think it should be a free update to current users.DrGonzo wrote:Anyone knows what the update will cost?

I'm guessing that it is only getting x.0 status because going non-SE is a major step/departure and the version number is meant to reflect that.
So this one going x.0 IS a unique situation.

Unless you're Korg who thinks it's OK to ding you for $15 for an upgrade that gives them more secure piracy protection and you NOTHING.

Both the windows version and the mac versions of this update will be free for every existing sylenth1 user. Lennard says that's because this is how Sylenth1 originally should have been, so no extra charges. You get what you paid for

..faya, are you at liberty to share a little about the GUI? Will it be the same but just SE free, or will it be totally different?

It is (apart from the added preset browser in the 'screen section') exactly the same but it is all rebuild WITHOUT synthedit. The plugin is now 100% free of SE.ephrem wrote:..faya, are you at liberty to share a little about the GUI? Will it be the same but just SE free, or will it be totally different?
