i'm all up for the more versatile LFO's in Uhbik-X seeing as the "different" LFO's are already in the Uhbik's them selves

Hi there,

As so often recently, here's a release candidate

http://www.u-he.com/Uhbik11b7Mac.zip
http://www.u-he.com/Uhbik11b7Winstaller.zip

New in beta 7/RC:

- Corrected order of public parameters
- Previous Output parameter is now the SoftBypass
- +/- 12db is at end of list
- various bugs and glitches fixed

(Windows install manual lacks correct graphics though)

Good to go? - I have about 24 hours of time to fix last issues... let's hope it's possible, otherwise I'll have to postpone the final to January...

;) Urs

I'm on a PPC G5 with 10.4.11 and all is well with Ableton Live 8. No problems with patch/control button.

hmmmm the same thing is happening on the pc for me too..maybe I am describing it badly or maybe it is as it is suppose to be.

I'll look into it, but I think it has always been that way. Dunno if I can fix that.

So, are we good to go? I would love to release tomorrow...

other than that which is not a biggie and may be intentional I am good to go.

Maybe the confusion is between clicking and right-clicking. Normal clicking toggles between control and patch. Right-clicking brings up the midi learn menu. I think the 0 and 1 is to help you distinguish which setting (patch or control) you are midi automating.

Urs, is that the problem zvenx is having?

Thanks for this release, but I've been waiting (for just a little while ;) ) for Uhbik X. I think it would be so cool to rack and automate the Uhb's

Post

yes that's what I am speaking about...and you may be right in terms of the automation values.. except I am not sure why one would want to automate which gui is shown in the interface and that the tremolo plugin behaves differently.

Urs it appears that (using Podium) the GUI controls do not map correctly to the non-GUI (default editor)parameter names?

Haven't tested other DAWs sorry.

edit: Uhbik G that is

You might have to rescan the plugins. I had to change the order of parameters from the last beta to make it match the order of parameters from the official version 1.0

I unfortunately had squeezed the Softbypass parameter into the beginning of the parameter list, so that automation made with Uhbik 1.0 would be screwed up with Beta 6. This beta now has matching parameter IDs with the official 1.0 version.

Is there a new beta today Urs?

I hope there'll be an official release today 8)

I've just finished writing the manual for Uhbik-G in German, and Howie is translating it to English.

Now all I need to do is create the screenshot, update the laid out version of the manual once Howie is finished, update the website and post the final version for a sanity check before I upload everything.

I also hope to have time to embed a newsletter tool in my new news site, and then I'll send out that big long newsletter that everybody has been waiting for. Before that I of course have to write news items for Uhbik, Zebra 2.5, Chronosphere and ACE.

Well, 5-7 hours to go...

Cheers,

;) Urs
