There'll be two installers in future, and I'll have a more descriptive message about UAC explaining why it crashes, before it does.

I know it's a beta.. I was just making sure.Urs wrote:It's a beta.Seventh7 wrote:Urs can you please fix this so it's all solid? I'd be happy to help test this.

No, you just need to move Zebra2.data (Bazille.data... ACE.data...) to C:\Users\you\Documents\ and put a shortcut back to Vstplugins. If Zebra doesn't find Zebra2.data in its enclosing doirectory, it looks for a Shortcut/Symbolic link named Zebra2.data (Zebra2.data.lnk, but the suffix is hidden in Explorer)Seventh7 wrote:I know it's a beta.. And it sounds like there isn't much you can do in a UAC protected directory eh? Either have to disable UAC or have to place the plugin outside of Program Files?
I havn't had a single complaint IIRC.glasgene wrote:Hi Urs not having tested the Uhbik 64Bit Betas, are you getting many issues?
ahhh that's good news and thank you for being one of those that has pulled their finger out and pressed forward with 64 bit development,; so many taking a long long time .Urs wrote:I havn't had a single complaint IIRC.glasgene wrote:Hi Urs not having tested the Uhbik 64Bit Betas, are you getting many issues?

Hmmmm... will check this out...mleghorn wrote:I've been using 64-bit Zebra, and I think I may have found an issue: Some patches distort. They don't distort in the 32-bit version. One patch that I really notice this with is Zebra Science "Tonto Sings 1". It's very distorted in the 64-bit version. I'm using Sonar 8.5.3 on a Pentium 5i, with ASIO4All and USB sound driver.
hmm it might be me but I am getting errors in Cubase 5.5.2 Windows 7 64Bit.. when I try to open a 64 Bit instance of any of the Uhbiks I get an error that reads something like "error cannot find script 1.1" then it locks up, anyone having success with W7/64 C5?Urs wrote:I havn't had a single complaint IIRC.glasgene wrote:Hi Urs not having tested the Uhbik 64Bit Betas, are you getting many issues?

Is there an Uhbik.data folder in the same directory as Uhbik-nn(x64).dll?glasgene wrote:hmm it might be me but I am getting errors in Cubase 5.5.2 Windows 7 64Bit.. when I try to open a 64 Bit instance of any of the Uhbiks I get an error that reads something like "error cannot find script 1.1" then it locks up, anyone having success with W7/64 C5?
Umm I think so does it need to be there?... if the installer gave the option to store all the data in the same folder as the plugs then I chose that.Urs wrote:Is there an Uhbik.data folder in the same directory as Uhbik-nn(x64).dll?glasgene wrote:hmm it might be me but I am getting errors in Cubase 5.5.2 Windows 7 64Bit.. when I try to open a 64 Bit instance of any of the Uhbiks I get an error that reads something like "error cannot find script 1.1" then it locks up, anyone having success with W7/64 C5?
