Typical situation: Most probably the second synth blocks the audio of the first synth. And the first synth blocks the events to the second synth.
Also see the docs: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/rack.html

What does ttha refer to?

Anyway, today I was working on a pattern for 5 hours or so, not a single crash or other problem :)

Did you read that doc page?

Post

Yes, but still, what did your comment refer to?

Post

Do you understand the difference between audio and event (aka MIDI) signals?
If not, please study. If yes, please think logically with the info i gave you + doc page.

Post

Of course I know the difference. My question to you is why did you write what you wrote? Were you answering a question I don't see?

Post

Did you delete your question? I saw your question whether your computer was too weak because you didn't hear sound when you plugged in a piano and a string in a rack.

Post

I do remember asking some question like that, but I think that was weeks ago 8) So I did not know what you were referring to today :)
I have read pretty much all docs meanwhile... Still, many questions remain, usually I find out by accident or avoid the trouble by using external stuff

Ah, yep, that explains it, that question is at the bottom of page 1 of this thread. Sometimes when i check for the latest posts, the forum software sends me to page 1 instead of the last page :? And coincidently it was a question by you and you also replied immediately on my reply, so i thought it was 1 ongoing conversation tonight. Anyway, sorry for the overhead, my fault.

Post

OK, that has happened to me as well on another message board :P

i tink what hes askin is, are there any more legacy issues that make a discerning no0b like himself into a naysayer?

The new Fairlight preset gave me the idea to make a vocoder effect mux, which I guess does not exist, yet.
When making a sequence of three or four pitch shifting modules and a couple of playable lowpazz filters, it sounds pretty good already :) Only tried it on a Marvin Gaye acapella audio file, though

Maybe a starting point for some mux freak like AndreasD... :D
