This was one of the easiest installs ever. I bought four synths so was expecting at least 10 mins of work installing them. Instead I just got a registry file thing which when clicked on registered all four synths. More time to tweak

Morphine is not a synth one should buy on a whim.

I did just that yesterday, and felt a bit bad. The presets that comes with it are just not very good. So playing with them I thought, man is this like an expansion for the M1? They all sound very 80's like. One preset is labeled Juno lead, and sounds nothing like that...

But brush aside the presets and you find a pretty complex machine underneath.

You can import waveforms from samples of your own choosing, up to four samples at a time that can be mixed and morphed together for pretty out-there complex sounds.

Only problem is that it nevertheless sounds a bit dry and digital.

Also not too pleased that one cannot apply the onboard effects to each layer, so if you want to refine a 4 part sound, you cannot add chorus to one part and delay to another, it's all or nothing...

If you are after a quick fix get Harmor, but if you love programming with synths like the DX7 and D50, Morphine is worth a look.

Hmmm... are you going to resist the urge to chop these "noises" up, and load them into Rayblaster, to make them sound like they were made with a Casio CZ synth?

Wow! How did you automate/control the changes?

I loaded the "free scrubbing" preset, recorded the audio from Youtube, then mostly just scrubbed it but I also played with the speed, range, etc controls. After I recorded it I edited together the "highlights"

Harmor has the best resynthesis and timestretching I think I've ever heard.

Which Image-Line plugins would you get? (end of the world sale)
