Satin goes V1.1

Anyone else having this problem in Logic Pro 9.1.8?

1. In Logic session, instantiate Satin on a channel
2. Select a Studio preset
3. Set grouping function in Satin.
4. Open another instance of satin, add to same group.
5. Close session without saving.
6. Open a different saved Logic session.
7. Instantiate Satin on a channel
8. Set group function again.....

9. Crash.

It happens every single time. Should I just submit a crash log to u-he?

Still getting really results with this in studio mode on almost everything. I am impressed how it can actually reduce the "harshness" on noisy material and that for me is essential.

I know this is very much off topic, but today was kind of like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon for me (due to this thread). Today I learned (wikipedia) Mrs. H has collaborated with Tony Banks (a synth hero of mine for at least 3 decades). Today I went to the book store and picked up a music magazine and there is a big article about Peter Gabriel (another music hero of mine for more than 3 decades), showing an ancient picture of Genesis (the oldest I have ever seen), including a very young Tony Banks. Peter Gabriel has collaborated musically with Tom Robinson: Tom Robinson was the first DJ to play my music on the radio. Then I later bought Zebra/ZebraHZ from the husband of Mrs. H. Makes me wonder how Urs met Mrs. H. Must be a small world after all.

Just downloaded and I'm very impressed! Like Compyfox already mentioned, it doesn't do the lo-fi thing with as much "bite" as some others, but damn... very nice sounding.

I definitely need to play with the delay more, but I like the result I got from just messing around.

How long is the intro pricing available?

After playing with the encoder/decoder as well as the maintenance options, it can get pretty damn nasty.

hey there,

I'm running rev.1818, and I'm noticing when having multiple instances on a group, scrolling through presets on one instance, that on other instances, the services area is not update, nor is the Tape Mode.

I am finding though sometimes paramters DO change, though it's not consistant, and seems to have some correlation to if i have just changed a parameter via mouse on that instance. Then it seems to change. Though once i've adjusted a parameter via mouse on another instance, then the parameters no longer update on preset changes..

I've been having some errors with the latest version in Live when I resize the GUI. Everytime I go from normal to small It works fine but as soon as i minimize it and re-open it I get a small GUI inside a normal sized window.

Anyone else having this error?

It's work fine (Mac version) under 10.6.8. Snow Leopard with Digital Performer 8 and LOGIC 9.1.8. in 64 Bits mode .
After reading the manual and exploration functions, I have saw a Solo function in Delay Mode Plug-in for each Head: the setting may be located between Balance and Level ! What do you think ?
Does not it become too complex ? The goal would be to better hear the effects settings in edit mode with the Solo function.

I love the delay function! It's amazing! It is also incredibly easy to use while still getting incredible results..

It is seen to have thought about the possibilities of Delay and Flanger for a simulation tape plug-in: I remember Robert Fripp of King Crimson guitarist used a tape recorder (Revox A77 & B77) as a echo chamber .
That while I began the guitar impressed me ...!

Satins flange mode is pretty amazing! It can give that analog style "mojo" to all kinds of material.
