Possibly. I'm going to rework a lot of the text portions before the official release. Still haven't quite sussed out how to render text so that it looks identical on MacOS and Win.firepile wrote:Is it just me, or does the font in the preset list in r1973 look fuzzy?

Just back up the old version? Presets/projects saved with the new version will still open in the old one and vice versa. Only, the new version as additional features.Caine123 wrote:if i install the beta is it a different vst option then? cause i dont want to destroy my current diva and projects.

I wonder if you've considered in the Trimmers page, having the voice active light stay on until the release portion of the envelope (if any) has completed. After all, the voice is active until then, right? It could illustrate better when voice steal happens for sounds with a long release, or in poly mode 2. I wonder if anyone else agrees with me ...
[edit] Or the light could fade out in sync with the decay ... I just realized after posting that if you have a four-voice patch and play a four voice chord with a long release, then another four-voice chord, the lights would have to blink or something to show the voices are retriggered.... I can see how this would not be a trivial solution.

Hmmm, yeah, a fade would be nice I guess... maybe just fade the LED half way during release stage, and fully once the voice goes into stand by.Adrian B wrote:I wonder if you've considered in the Trimmers page, having the voice active light stay on until the release portion of the envelope (if any) has completed. That would actually be brilliant! I not at my music computer, remind me - does the voice LEDS respond to the LED colour control?Urs wrote:Hmmm, yeah, a fade would be nice I guess... maybe just fade the LED half way during release stage, and fully once the voice goes into stand by.Adrian B wrote:I wonder if you've considered in the Trimmers page, having the voice active light stay on until the release portion of the envelope (if any) has completed. I havent read the entire thread - so you might already know - but i found a bug(running pt 11):
When controlling DIva from a midi controller, the GUI doesnt update according to the midi controllers. The sound reacts but not the GUI.
Another thing:
When controlling the feet of the moog oscillator with a midi controller, the first osc feet is stepped as it should be. When assigingin the same controller to control any of the other osc feet, it is not stepped, but i can sweep the entire freq range without any steps.
And the midi unlearn function seems to be a bit fishy.
And last but NOT least!
Is there any way that i can use noise as an lfo? maybe its me but i cant let noise control the pitch of the osc or say, the freq of the filter.
PLEASE make that a possibility:)

If this has already been requested I can't find it (and hopefully this is a good spot to post this):
I'd like to have a special folder in the Patches directory (lower left of the Patches screen) that showed ONLY the patches marked as Favourites, all collected together in a single group.
(A search function would also be very welcome, but I know there's some sort of improved patch organization scheme in the works, at least for Zebra 3 and hopefully it will make its way into Diva as well.)

Could verify this in PT10 also, it's on our list.the19thbear wrote:(running pt 11): When controlling DIva from a midi controller, the GUI doesnt update according to the midi controllers. The sound reacts but not the GUI.
Could not find anything wrong with it... can you be more specific? Maybe you had multiple learns on one parameter and only un-did one or "not all"?the19thbear wrote:midi unlearn function seems to be a bit fishy.
That's because the 2nd and 3rd OSC have detune parameters. MIDI-learning the feet also sort-of co-learns the detune knobs and vice versa, so you're basically sweeping up and down through the detuning of the currently selected feet value between +6 to -6, and when the detune control hits its limit at +6 or -6, the feet change up or down one step, whichever direction you were sweeping, resetting the detune control to its opposite. (+6 -> -6 et v.v.)the19thbear wrote:controlling the feet of the moog oscillator with a midi controller, the first osc feet is stepped as it should be. If you don't understand what I mean, then have a look at it in a host that displays the GUI correctly.

Yes, same as transpose going down.hakey wrote:For me, saving presets with rev 1973 resets the lfo's to 0.1secs - is this a known bug?
(thought I'd seen it mentioned elsewhere, did I imagined that?)
We think we've fixed a bug that was holding us back from releasing new betas in the past few weeks. Might release fix today.
