Edit mode's Automation view should have a separate, editable loop brace for unlinked/free-run automation, and have its playhead visible.

To make room for this extra loop brace view, the four editable number boxes (Start/Stop, Loop Start/Length) could be moved to the Inspector, just like the main Note loop brace edit boxes are.

What about ...

A macro container that can send/receive macro information across devices and tracks

Zoom to fit keyboard shortcut - highlight a clip or area, zoom so that it fills the screen

Comments - similar to Abletons locators- Add short comments/reminders/ideas to specific points on the time line or individual clips.

The other way is to apply a groove to the onsets. At the time of writing, this latter option isn’t possible in Bitwig Studio, but is to be added soon.

With bitwigs stretching algo I'll be very excited with this

Devices

-Sampler & Drum machine should show or give some indication that the sample is playing through. I am talking about in the sample display window itself.

General:

-Custom Key commands

-Hover displayed info on whatever is under the cursor. Right now only some things have pop up displayed. But there is a large space on the bar at the bottom of the app, where the Arrange, Mix Edit controls are, which could display info for everything you touch (optional of course)

-Small button to bypass insert plugin from the mixer display

-Some ways to make the browser more customized in what you actually see. Just some ways to make it neater. Like being able to categorize my effects so I can group them into Delay / Reverb / EQ etc for neater browsing.

-The ability to play MIDI files from the browser using an instrument track of my choice to output the notes. Maybe all MIDI program change data should be automatically filtered out in this case.

This is high on my list... although I would prefer if it just dealt with common parameters rather than specifically Macros.

Handy for dealing with automation taken from a multi VST (like Machine) where you have midi/audio tracks all over and at the moment all automation is dealt with by the main instrument track.

Hey, did you try out the clip automation modes? I think you can achieve similar results with this. (of course only for producing, not for playing live) I think from these two pictures you should get what you can achieve with it:

yepp BWS can loop the automations it's quite cool and unique AFAIK

You can sort of bypass, you can deactivate it from the mixer display

Just press it and alt a^^

1 - The ability to set Keys on the piano roll, Like studio one 2, So for example, Choose C Major and any keys outside C major get muted.
2 - The Ability to re-size Tracks in track view (Expand, contract)
3 - Track Versions (Like cubase)
4 - Groups
5 - Expandable Mixer meters from the play window

A lighter theme option would be nice too.
