Amplitube 4.1.0 can't connect to my Focusrite 2i2 via ASIO, when Windows and other VSTs can. I get an alert, "Could not initialize Audio Device". Started a separate thread for this, and opened a support ticket, but any help would be appreciated.

IK never do this probably not to break existing projects. I agree a 2.0 version of recent Amps would be welcome.koitsu wrote: Like someone else said above, I also think it would be incredible if IK could somehow integrate the incremental improvements gained through development of these Fender sims to other "current generation" releases like the Mesa and AT4 Marshall models. Maybe it's not possible or even needed from a design standpoint, but just adding my vote to that notion.

I really think it's time they revisit their Ampeg amps. There's nothing wrong with doing 2.0 models of amps. We've seen multiple takes on several amps already, just with new names, under different collections.electro wrote: IK never do this probably not to break existing projects. If I'm not mistaken, Ampeg was the first Amplitube expansion and the original Fender was next but came later? If so, let's get the older packs up to this quality. I'd really like a nice, modern take on the B15. Heck, if they ONLY do a new B15 I'd be happy.

I think Amplitube Metal then possibly The Jimi Hendrix collection then Ampeg collection. Fender was at the end of that line iirc.

I registered Ampeg SVX in November 2006 (yep, it's over 10 years old), Hendrix in May 2008, and Metal in June of 2008 with Fender in June 2009. AT3 was registered February 2010. Now, I'm not saying I bought them all the day they were released, but I suspect I didn't wait too years to buy any of them either.metalifuxx wrote:I think Amplitube Metal then possibly The Jimi Hendrix collection then Ampeg collection. Yes, I do believe that was the correct order of release.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:I registered Ampeg SVX in November 2006 (yep, it's over 10 years old), Hendrix in May 2008, and Metal in June of 2008 with Fender in June 2009. In Amplitube 4 they re-did the Marshall JCM800 and JCM900 plus they did the Mesa Boogie collection which has roots in Amplitube 2 and Amplitube Metal so it is possible. The Fender Super Reverb and Bassman were in Amplitube 2 as well. My short list of must-revise amps with this new Dynamic Interaction Modeling technology are:
Acoustic 360
Ampeg B15
Ampeg SVT-VR 300
Ampeg SVT-810E cabinet
Fender '65 Twin Reverb
Hiwatt DR103
Marshall JTM 45
Marshall 1959
Orange OR120
Peavy 6505
Roland JC-120
Supro
VOX AC30
A model of the Revv Generator 120 Mark II (or the original, but the new one is due out very soon) and a Revv 4x12 cabinet would also be great. I'd pay $100 for that amp + cabinet alone.
Revamping the old pedals would also be welcoming! My top list would be
Ibanez Tube Screamer
MXR Dynacomp
Boss DS2
Boss DD-3
Boss OC-3
ProCo Rat
Dunlop Cry Baby Wah (original or SW95 Slash version)
MXR Phase 90
Maestro Echoplex

I m having trouble demoing this. I'm using Mainstage 3. I have amplitube 3, Plus I have 4 available, which I think is a demo. I don't really understand, there seems to be no upgrade to it that I can see. Anyway, fender collection 2 only shows up in equipment list in v4. I have opened the custom shop, selected a model, kept the CS open, gone back to MainStage and selcted the amp I have chosen to demo, but always get the message that it won't sound the same as I don't have that amp model installed.
Any clues what is going wrong here?

I need some help. I demoed the Fender 2 collection, and overall I was very impressed, but when push came to shove I found myself only using the Custom Pro and Custom Deluxe amps & cabs. If I were to purchase both amps and cabs individually in the custom shop, it would cost me 90 gear credits, which isn't much savings vs buying the entire collection of 6 amps & cabs for 100! Seems a bit odd to me.
edit: decided to start a new thread as I mainly have questions about custom shop and not necessarily Fender 2. If anyone is willing to chime in it would be appreciated. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=476125

Not a Mac guy, so no clue about Mainstage, but maybe you're choosing a preset, not an amp, and the preset uses other models that you don't have and aren't demoing.someone called simon wrote:I m having trouble demoing this. I wish presets that included models you don't have available just didn't show up, or were slightly greyed or something. It'd be so much easier to find ones that will actually load, and much less annoying.

Thanks, yeh I'm used to seeing this when demoing stuff, but it's the amp model it says isn't showing up, not some effect etc. Which is the whole point of demoing the new amps, I would have thought! So I think It's a different issue.dwozzle wrote: ...Not a Mac guy, so no clue about Mainstage, but maybe you're choosing a preset, not an amp, and the preset uses other models that you don't have and aren't demoing...

Can you demo it from Amplitube standalone? Shouldn't matter I think, you'd have to be able to demo T-Tracks stuff in a DAW, would think Amplitube would work the same, but it's worth checking, especially if AT stuff is what you're interested in right now.

Thanks, that was worth a try, but I the same deal in standalone. I find all this custom shop stuff a little painful tbh. I was hoping to be able to try some things before the intro price finished, but that's not looking too hopeful. Also, I have already tried to audition 3 amps, so those ones won't be able to be tried again for 6 weeks, I think it is, and I have less than 72 hours to get them to show up before they stop.

Um, just worked it out. I was selecting the cabs only. I forget that the cab and the amp are different. duh.
