This qualifies as an insult for you? Don't know whether I shall laugh or cry ... People who smell insults everywhere...so low self esteem that you can't simply shrug off? Or just want to live out frustration and construct a conflict?

I'm not constructing a conflict. I'm pointing out that the defence of Melda rests on the idea there was no deliberate criticism of people who want to continue to use OS X. But it's clear Vojtech thinks of them of only caring about putting stickers on things. How you interpret that is up to you. But I contend that it's a dumb and unnecessary thing to put into a blog post aimed at your own, paying customers.

And there's the proof - constructing a conflict.
If you look only long enough, and do in depth "analysis" you can always find a thing to be upset about. I do this a lot myself. If you "want" to feel insulted because your "believe system" is hurt or the "reactions of others towards you" does not meet *your* expectations... that is what apples sold you... the expectation of "bring recognized as one of them"... but now people show they simply not care about this expectation and tgey bring facts... and that is bad, because the implosion of a pure marketing promis (psychological game) is reflected and take personal. Why? Because you might ask yourself whether the decission for apple could have been wrong and therefore all the marketing stuff and image one bought with the actual hardware might have been an illusion. Possible reaction - fight and kill the messenget, shrugg off and ignore or think twice. Many chose "kill the messenger".

I'll explain this slowly because you appear to be a little slow on the uptake.

sirmonkey argued that a lot of the discussion shouldn't happen because Vojtech was criticising Apple and not users of their stuff. I just pointed out that there was an implied criticism and attempted insult in the quip about stickers. It doesn't matter whether anyone took it seriously - it was there.

It's telling that your go-to response about having "low self esteem" and take criticism too seriously. I should point out that Mladi called me an "arrogant prick" and not even deserving of personhood yesterday. I could have reported it and get it taken down. I didn't. I even quoted it.

Now you're applying a load more projection from the Church of Ctrl-Alt-Delete with "apple sold you the expectation of being recognised as one of them". Apple sold me a computer. Well, several computers. They run software I want to run - some of this stuff simply isn't available on Windows. For Windows, well I can either go to a VM or a networked PC for that.

But every time something about OS X comes up, it's the same bullshit about stickers or image. You're obsessed with the image. It's hard not to think you're just grumpy because other people might have one and you don't and so spend the days projecting your insecurity all over the internet.

If it makes you feel better - anything you said about me, the World, the Apple and anything else is true.
BTW: I love to be slow, it gives me time to think twice. Can I recommand that to you too?

I don't see the insult. Just saying. Not more than a snippy sideswipe, if then. Which i agree with, as i mentioned.

Oh, so it's low blows against nationalities now. Wow, you really should consider to leave the sinking ship, el-bro. Your argument gets weaker and weaker, if you already feel compelled to resort to stuff like that.

I've already made my point.

Your desire to insert yourself in everything here no matter how irrelevant it is to you isn't required.

If it wasn't relevant to me, i wouldn't click on the topic link. Of course it is interesting for me how the software industry reacts on such a radical move by a OS vendor. Actually, i can't even say that i blame Apple for it, it's just... too radical. Because they should have considered that people use other software than the one installed with Mac OS X. And they should have also considered that the music software industry is in general pretty slow in terms of progression, so, they shouldn't be surprised when software developers warn their users that they will run into big trouble when upgrading.

All I did was change one word from your post to demonstrate that all prejudice stems from the same ignorance.

I don't persecute entire nations based on the actions of a few, or even the actions of the majority. I treat everyone as an individual, based on their own merits.

Just because you seek to persecute the entire Apple user-base on the back of the actions of an ignorant and vociferous group within the community, doesn't mean I now believe all Germans are equally as ignorant as you are.

I have to say, it surprises me that you couldn't see, in my post, your own absurdity staring back at you. Just changed one word. Could I have made it any easier for you?

Post

How does any of that even make sense? What is a typical German, or German stereotypes? I mean, except for those which obviously exist in your stupid brain. Do you want to come up with things 70 years ago, which even my grand parents didn't have anything to do with? Seriously?

I'm talking about Apple users in the here and now, and in the real world. Not some weird things which exist in your head. I mean, seriously, look at you. All insulted, because someone dared to suggest to consider a OS which doesn't break everything with every new update.

Whoosh.

Another one who doesn't understand the subtleties of changing one word of someone's post so that it reflects right back at them their tendency towards ignorance, bigotry and persecution.

I spend way too much time on KVR, and to find out that I'm sharing the space with idiots such as yourself is not something I would define as winning
