Why did they remove the top panel that gives you the chord name?
That was probably the best feature of Scaler 2

I wish they made it easier to change key rather than scrolling though loads of keys for ages. Just a drop down to change to C,D,E etc to change key is needed unless I am missing something.

You can filter by key by clicking on the keyboard under the "All Scales" menu in section A.korgscrew wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 7:04 pm I wish they made it easier to change key rather than scrolling though loads of keys for ages. Is it possible to disable the vst plugin scanning? I’m interested in buying this but I really don’t want that part of it

Why is Section B the only place to change the octave? It seems like it should be in all of the sections. I feel like I'm missing something.

Buyers Beware!
In case you have not noticed, according to their "privacy statement", Scaler reserves the right to extract personal sensitive data such as your political preferences, beliefs and sexual preferences etc. You can not opt out.
This to me this is absolutely repulsive.
I think Scalermusic has some explaining to do.

Way too much hysteria in this thread. It's like this plug frightens some people or something.

I was just thinking the same. Criticism is one thing but feeding the hysteria machine is another.

Oh crap. They are going to find out I like minor keys more than major ones & try to sell me anti-depressants as a result. It’s the end of the world!MelloProg wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 4:30 am Buyers Beware!

I’ve had a few crashes on my Mac & it doesn’t save the instrument used with the preset which is a pain. Still a bit baffled by the way it works but I guess I should read the manual or something…
Now where’s that Pink Floyd album…
