Okay, here is what you'll get in the update... just as soon as i post the link
FEATURES:
- MIDI control to select the pages, starting at C0
The note names appear in the page list, and they correspond exactly with the notes that appear in the piano roll, so you can easily program in page changes.
- The two notes that lie immediately before C0 will select next/prev page.

Download PC TrackPAD2
Cycle thru the pages with A-1 and B-1 (the two white keys to the left of the main range, which begins at C0).
NOTE: still has keyboard focus problems with live/cubase, but works fine in Tracktion, and eXT (you could always use it wrapped if needs be).
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

When you say keyboard focus, you mean computer, right? The cycling with midi keys should work? (on a Mac now and can't test it)

Just a thought, but if you can make this take images, and allow it to go full screen, this could be a down and dirty multi media plug! Throw it on a second monitor and you have a pretty cool presentation synced to midi!

midi works fine in live. not tested cubase as there's no recent demo, but it should work fine there too.
your comment about the images is noted... tho they'd have to be file referenced as it'd be a bit much to store them in the patch data. anything like that will not appear any time soon... for now i am putting this project to bed whilst i concentrate on other things
i feel it's useful enough as it is now

Okay, last update
There is now a toggle switch next to the font selector that chooses whether you have ALL system fonts or just the default three. I personally didn't like being forced to have all of them there to wade thru, yet didn't want to restrict those with useful alternative fonts, so i've made it optional.
The first time you enable it, it will scan your system for fonts, which may take a few seconds. It only has to do that once though, so you can toggle away to your hearts content. Changing it back to 'off' will give you the default three types, but will NOT change the font on your page, so you can change it without worrying about losing your custom font.
Here we go.. final version...
