Thx!roger_milford wrote:VIP user this side, finally got it installed. No problems so far with third party libraries that I can see and/or with Trillian and the Bob Moog update. Everything third party wise is still where it was before the upgrade.

Are the filters sounding any better in v2? I wasn't a fan of the Omni v1 filters.

Finally downloading! Had to keep refreshing the website for half an hour, but once it started working, everything went smoothly. Getting about 15 MB/s, 17 minutes left. A perfect moment to walk the dog, then it's TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE!

im downloading from the download manager from the browser, so i shall cancel it and download the download manager from my email?noiseboyuk wrote:NOW HEAR THIS
Whatever you do, don't install from the installers online in your account, at least on Windows these do not work correctly - they don't download the new data and although Omni 2 installs and activates, it will not work.
In your confirmation email, there are two tiny tiny links there to the download manager, one for Mac and one for Windows. These are the ones - use these!
Currently download is pretty speedy, here's hoping it fixes my busted install....

Today I learned a new advantage of hardware: You enter the shop, point on a device, pay for it, grab it with your sticky fingers and from that moment it is yours.
Spectrasonics on the other hand knows how to dissect and stretch the process into pieces that take their time. A simple email confirming the payment, for example, must not reach you within an hour or so. It may not even reach you at all. Then it's up to you to get in contact to inform them about the new bucks on their bank account.

I wouldn´t risk it. If you click the "details"-button in the download manager, it tells you that you´re only entitled to download once. And I don´t know where noiseboy has got his information from, but I am also using the download manager from my user account site, and it does download new files, e. g. in the Omnisphere 1 STEAM folder there´s a Data Base File "World01", and the Download Manager loaded a file called "World2". Same for other soundsource folders. Seems alright.Caine123 wrote: im downloading from the download manager from the browser, so i shall cancel it and download the download manager from my email?
Can´t tell you if everything installs all right, though, as I´m still downloading.

I got my email within two minutes. Have you checked your spam/junk folders?

I don't even want to think what Omnisphere would cost if it was hardware. I wouldn't be surprised if it even went as high as 5 grand. 3 grand is like bottom cellar dollar amount for a synth like this.zvenx wrote:I got my email within two minutes. Have you checked your spam/junk folders?
