New Features:

5. Added "Create Random Waveform" to wavetables to create random shapes for Line/Wave sources.
6. Decreased the built-in keyboard height so that macros could fit under Keyboad tab.

Bug Fixes:

1. Replacing an oscillator with Granular oscillator might crash SynthMaster 3 after the preset is saved and loaded again
2. SynthMaster 3 should prevent users from adding drive root folders as sample/waveform search paths
3. When Granular oscillator envelope attack+release times are greater than 1, SynthMaster 3 might crash
4. SynthMaster 3 VST3 incorrectly sends parameter changes to VST3 Host when the plugin window opens up
5. SynthMaster 3 might crash when loading a preset
6. When pressing a low key on the the piano view, notes might get held
7. When a wavetable is loaded, the phase type of the wave source is not displayed correctly
8. When a wavetable is saved, existing list of wavetables is not refreshed correctly
9. When a waveform is saved, existing list of waveforms is not refreshed correctly
10. When a sfz file is saved, existing list of sfzs is not refreshed correctly
11. Closing the waveform editor might crash SynthMaster 3
12. SynthMaster 3 crashes when custom waveforms are loaded on wave source keyframes
13. SynthMaster 3 crashes when there are no waveforms listed and the random button is pressed on the waveform browser dialog
14. Waveform tie parameter is not persisted on the wavetable editor dialog
15. When auto glide is turned on in mono, the first midi note starts from zero

Thanx Bulent!

What a cool and important update.
Synthmaster was crashing relatively often here when switching presets and since the newest update and switching dozens of presets it didn't crash once. Very nice.
Cool new functions, gotta explore the stuff. :party: :hug:

Good news for Komplete Kontrol users: In our v3.3 update, we are adding SM1 and SM2 factory presets to NKS, so they will show up under SynthMaster 3. This way, you will see all factory presets (4250 presets so far). Oh by the way, we are bringing the good old gray skin back :D

I know it was already mentioned last year but I still cannot import any user samples into the granular osc... no matter what I try I get always "Missing sample file..."

What am I doing wrong??

Hi

How are you importing the sample(s)? via drag-n-drop? That works for single samples if you are dropping on the granular osc display.

Maybe it’s a different type of audio file SM3 doesn’t agree with?

How are you importing the sample(s)? via drag-n-drop? That works for single samples if you are dropping on the granular osc display.
No matter what I do...

- My default preset has a single Osc going into a filter...
- I change this OSC to a Granular one (Replace with...) which loads by default the sample set BT mare mediterano pad...
- I click on the pencil tool to edit it
- I go to the region menu and choose Create empty group
- no matter what I do from now on:
dragging the sample from the DAW browser to the keyboard region to create a new
or using the Import file(s) the result is always the same...
when I select the region the waveform display shows nothing but Missing sample file: "sample´s name"
- Loading something factory though works flawless

Happens equally in every DAW I tested

Is there an easy way to change the main accent colour (the green)?
I like the grey skin very much but would rather have something warmer, like a golden orange as a main tone.
Would be cool if there was a way to set a master accent colour or something like that without going into full skin editor mode.

But good to see more choice in skins!
And thanks for all the updates! I like the new layout with the smaller keyboard a lot.

I seem to have a new issue with the latest version:
If I use a noise for modulation, it does not change it's value when the Trigger is set to Poly. It works in Global and Mono.
I'm pretty sure this used to work in the past?
Or am I missing something?

That's odd. Just tested and it works in Poly mode as well.

This partly fixes it for me but there are still 2 issues:

1. This just works for me if I delete the previous (Default) group before importing a new sample...
If I just create a new empty group without deleting the other and drag n drop a sample onto the keyboard range of the new group, it shows still the missing sample message!

Btw: When this happens there is suddenly a copy of the first imported sample file in the main directory of the drive where the sample came from...

2. Synthmaster 3 (at least this latest build) crashes FL Studio to desktop when trying to load a new project when the actual open project contains 1 instance of Synthmaster 3...
And probably in general on close... hard to tell because you are closing the programm anyway... :wink:

I tested... it doesn´t happen with any other plugin... just with Synthmaster but i.e. it doesn´t happen with any other DAW though... just FL Studio (Windows 11)
