Does the TRacks thing pester you with marketing stuff inside the app? I don't currently have anything from IK and I'm not sure that I want anything from them. My one experience with their bundleware was annoying in that way.

Nope. The Custom Shop is basically a storefront and the plugins themselves are just regular VST/AU/AAX etc. The only place you'll run into issues if you try to use presets that contain modules you haven't bought.

But if you plan to use the compressor like any regular plugin you won't see any of that.

If you already have T-RackS but not the Opto Compressor you can get it without having to open a second account. Make sure you have the latest version of T-RackS installed, then open the Custom Shop software, log in there, and go to Gear --> Restore My Gear
