From what we know, it has nothing to do with streaming, True Pianos apprently looks for HDD serial number and the flash does not have it. ( we think it is part of the authentication process ). We are talking to them about it.DragonSagoth wrote:It is very sporadic, as some people can run Truepianos without the external hard drive :/ In fact Truepianos do not stream anything from the hard drive at all, so that's weird.

I bought a V-Machine this week! It's out for delivery with UPS right now...can't wait! I noticed that the Korg MS-20 softsynth is among the ones that work on the V-Machine. Has anybody attempted to get the Wavestation working?

Every hardware device HAS TO HAVE a serial number.
@billw - probably KLCD will work, I think Synchrosoft dongle is supported now.

I've noticed that Truepianos seems to work better when I run it from a HDD
BUT I still get some clips and pops when i really work it hard with loads of notes,glisses.. etc...
I'm hoping and feeling optimistic that Truepianos and SM pro will work out a solid (no need for HDD) solution.

Also.. i'd much prefer Truepianos to have a limit on polyphony... a cutoff point rather than clicks and pops...
i'm sure most would agree that clips and pops on a live gig is unacceptable.

I said I THINK that Synchrosoft is now supported, IIRC VFXAU was saying something along those lines when mentioning one of the latest firmware updates.

Hi all.
I uploaded a video a few days back but forgot to post it here.
Please excuse the sound quality. The purpose of the video is not for sound quality, it's simply to show how fast the V-Machine is for those interested in Streaming Samples and how quick it is to get around.

Hope someone finds the video interesting.

Been Trying to install NI B4II onto my V-machine for about a month (#^%@*$)...I have a registered version running on my computer...So I'm trying to import the dll. file from my Native Instruments folder (In program files on computer's hard disc). + the wizard file from the SMPro website ( which is in the same folder)...I can see B4II in the plugin listing within VFx application, but as soon as I try and bring it up in a Bank I get a "ERROR NTL327" message and VFx crashes. I tried deleting the "demo" words from the wizard file...no luck.Anybody else struck this , or know what ERROR NTL327 means??....Do I have to re-install B4 from within VFx ( as in SMPro's video tutorial for MAC users)??.....Thanks...Please help...I'm about to launch the v-machine through a window!!

Be a little more patient, according to VFXAUs words soon there will be a proper authoring tool for all NI software, and it will be able to run on V-M as needed.
B4-I might work, though, because it has a different authorisation process, IIRC.

I tried to install B4I for two month and I finally gave up...support sucks with this. They stopped answering my emails. The crashing VFX is a pain in the ass because you need to reboot XP everytime which is a clear indicator for SLOPPY programming.bhaymes wrote:Been Trying to install NI B4II onto my V-machine for about a month (#^%@*$)...I have a registered version running on my computer...So I'm trying to import the dll. file from my Native Instruments folder (In program files on computer's hard disc). + the wizard file from the SMPro website ( which is in the same folder)...I can see B4II in the plugin listing within VFx application, but as soon as I try and bring it up in a Bank I get a "ERROR NTL327" message and VFx crashes. Really can't understand why SMPRO Audio doesn't offer crystal clear installation manuals for the most commonly used VSTis. B4 surely is one of those.

who stopped answering your emails? please let me know as far as support we try to do the best possible job here and on the smproaudio website. In regards to NI and B4, you should all know by now that the only reason that you cannot use an auth version is because the procedure requires a hardware authentication, NI and VFX are working on this. Not an issue of if, just when. BTW B4 works very well on the V-MachinE.(As you can see when you run the demo version)

I emailed Peter Schloßnagel from SMPRO Audio Germany the last time on April 26. He didn't reply at all. Interesting to hear from you that B4 alledgedly is working very well on the VM. Let's ask the forum members: Who of you got B4I running on his VM??VFXAU wrote:[quote="vuckmachine

BTW: B4-I does NOT require hardware authentication! So this can't be the reason why it doesn't work!

B4-I is listed as working. B4-II is not.
But, why not trying GSi VB3, as it has far better sound and leslie simulation?
