No. They are proprietary.Nobdi wrote:Do the free Presonus plugins work in other DAWs (are they "normal" VSTs)? - I have them in my Presonus account (btw: tx for pointing to it) but don't have any version of Studio One installed atm ?!?

I need another synth like I need another hole in my head. But I kind of like the sound and really doubt I will ever tweak it since I rarely tweak any of my synths.... $24 is a deal, really.ftech wrote:Sure, if you don't think you'll get the itch to tweak at all, but at the current price PA is an absolute bargain.MogwaiBoy wrote:Is the 'Lil Poly Ana' version worth getting, if the sheer size and scale (screen real estate) scares you - and you're mainly a preset kinda guy?

the picture didn't look like it had an ADSR envelope on it.

Nice deal on the Phonec 2, was trying to not buy synths at the moment but getting this and Lush 101 for just over £80 for the pair, when I was intending to buy both anyway at some point, was too good to pass up.

A well-behaved signature.

Um, what exactly does an ADSR envelope do that I would need to tweak it?greenfly wrote:dzilizzi wrote:I need another synth like I need another hole in my head. Does any of you guys and gals have experience with Impact Soundworks´ Juggernaut compared to similar "cinematic" libraries?
I´m quite on the fence about the vstbuzz-offer for 49,99.
While I am regularly in need for fresh fodder (largely indie horror and action movie trailers and tracks), I already have roughly a gazillion of "cinematic" libraries from NI´s action strikes, rise&hit over Heavyocity´s Gravity, a bunch of Zero-Gs, String Audio, Sample Logic, yadda yadda. I already know I´m suffering from severe SAS (Sample Acquisition Syndrome; related to GAS) and should put a halt to it.
Would Juggernaut have fresh and different enough content to justify the expense nevertheless?

Epiphaneia -- I'm assuming that you know about the free Sonniss sounds, but just in case:

I have Juggernaut. With what you have, I don't think it would add much. I actually got it free when I bought a bunch of their other products during the holiday sales. It is not a bad product or anything, I just don't think it has much that is different from any other cinematic sound library. There is a synth bass instrument and a Drums/FX instrument. To me the sounds are very synth like. You can probably tweak them but I am not good at that. There are some presets, but not a whole lot of them.
I actually love Impact Soundworks Sonic Ocean and Sonic Forest. The tweaks are kind of fun because they call them things like "grow" "blossom" "age" "tangle" "sun" "shade" It is different and I like the sounds I get.

Juggernaut being a Kontakt Player instrument, I guess it can be used to crossgrade to Kontakt full version.
Which would save a user €150 if wanting to buy Kontakt full version (crossgrade is priced at €249)
So that could be useful.

Thanks! I´ll rather skip Juggernaut then (really need to stop buying stuff just for the good discount), I have too many "good quality but rather generic in nature"-libraries already (shame most of them cannot be resold). I´ll have a look at Sonic Ocean though.dzilizzi wrote:I have Juggernaut. With what you have, I don't think it would add much. What would you do if you liked the sound of a preset but you wanted to make it more plucky?dzilizzi wrote:Um, what exactly does an ADSR envelope do that I would need to tweak it?greenfly wrote:dzilizzi wrote:I need another synth like I need another hole in my head.
