Beware Hans25. He talked me way down on my price and remarked that he already had one of the libraries included with the bundle. I had no use for the library, but it would cost me another ilok fee to transfer it, so I went with his low-ball price. Then, all of the sudden he still owned the library... but was mad that I didn't spend the extra $25 to transfer it to him... but he was unable to use the library he owned a license to.. (I know, it makes zero sense). Cost me $50 to learn that lesson.

This is my first negative experience with anyone here at KVR and I have traded a lot.

First of all, I'm going to go to the Mods about this and show them the whole PM conversation. Second Zerocrossing is one big liar and is now trying to defame me. And after what he did himself he still has the guts to come here and try to ruin my credability. I will tell you this: NEVER EVER deal with this guy. He is a lier that tries to take advantaged of a trade by not delivering what we had agreed on.

And how stupid can one be to post a lie when I have the whole conversation in my inbox . Everyone here knows that I'm a nice guy. I even purchased hardware that was on sale in my country and sent it to people here as a favor not claiming a penny for it.


Story:
I had seen that he had BMP 1.5 for sale and I contacted him because I was interested in it - but not for that price. He has had BMP 1.5 for sale for over a month - so I figured he might want to get rid of it.

Then I first made a bid and he came back and asked for more than my bid. Then I bid between his bid an my bid and a little bit in his favor.

I had read and listened to BMP on youtube etc. and on Motu's website it was stated that 1.5 was 19GB. Then I found out that Beat Box Anthology (from UVI) was a part of the 19GB and I already have this library on standalone license and as a part of 1 single license for Vintage Vault (the biggest library bundle at UVI).

Before zerocrossing replied to my 2. bid I sent him a message again and told him that I was unsure if I wanted the library since Beat Box Anthology was a part of the bundle (the 19GB) and a duplicate for me. So I was thinking if I wanted it anyway now that I already had access to Beat Box Anthology from Machfive and UVI workstation.

Then he replied:

Is it? Maybe as a download... I don't have it, though I do have that library from somewhere else as well. Maybe that's why I didn't install it.
Anyway, I'll take $.... for it if you download it yourself and pay with the gift option on Paypal so I don't have to give them a percentage.

Nevertheless, I decided to buy it anyway.
I paid as he asked me to do with Friends and Family so that expense was on me. He delivers 1 single license for BMP on my ILok account and I think everything is fine. Then I download BMP library and Beat Box Anthology library and install it.

But after installing the library I get a message from the BMP plugin that the license for Beat Box Anthology is missing?! I find that strange and look in the installation manual for BMP 1.5. There, it' stated that Beat Box Anthology has it's own license that needs to be registered in the ILok manager. I thought that zerocrossing simply had forgotten to transfer it and contacted him about it asking if he could transfer it:

Actually there might be a small problem. I don't have the Ilok license for beat box anthology. In the manual it states that:

Installing the Beat Box Anthology soundbank file:
To install the Beat Box Anthology.ufs soundbank file, copy it from the Beat Box Anthology DVD to the following location:

So there should be a DVD with Beat Box Anthology in version 1.5. Do you think you have it somewhere?

Then zerocrossing replied with this :

Well, you told me you had Beat Box Anthology, which is why I lowered the price. It is a separate iLok license. It will cost me another $25 USD to transfer it to you. If you paypal me $25 as a gift/friends/family transation, I'll make the transfer.

?? So zerocrossing apparently decided not to deliver Beat Box Anthology because he thought that the agreed price was to low? But then he shouldn't have accepted it. Beat Box Anthology is a part of BMP 1.5 and that was what he had on sale and the agreement.
Furthermore, The BMP library can't even be used without Beat Box Anthology. So there I am having paid for BMP 1.5 not being able to use it. Not a good situation.

And then he wants ME to pay $25 to cover the ILok transfer fee for another transaction for Beat Box Anthology, because he was dishonest and tried to cheat me ??

I answered him with this:

We have absolutely NO agreement that Beat Box Anthology wasn't a part of the bundle. It is a part of the bundle - Go and look at Motu's website. You are selling BMP 1.5 and Beatbox is a part of that bundle. What you did or rather not did was not a part of the deal.

I actually had a plan of selling my own Beatbox Anthology because I already have it in Vintage Vault Edition but now that I have search my computers it seems like it has crashed or something. I searched all my computers and Ilok software claims the license isn't on any of them.

I have 3 lenovo laptops that I have used to produce music on. And for some reason the Beat Box Anthology soft license i purchased separately (of course I can prove that because it's registered at UVI and furthermore look below) wasn't found on any of them . In my ILook Manager it is stated that I have a softlicense for Beat Box Anthology but it's not available on any of my lenovo laptops for some reason. I think it might be because I upgraded all of them to Windows 10. Honestly I don't know. I have to contact UVI to hopefully give me another license.

Then zerocrossing tries to exploit this by insinuating that I'm lying about having an extra license for Beat Box Anthology. But even if I didn't have an extra license - that has nothing to do with this trade. It's totally irrelevant. Nevertheless (and even though I don't have to and it's irrelevant), I prove it by showing him a screen print of my ILok manager:




I tell him that he should just deliver the license:

I really don't feel I have to argue anymore about this. If you have the slightest decency then you deliver the lacking license now.

But he won't. He will rather pay one more fee of $25 to me to transfer the BMP library license back to him so that he had spent $50 for nothing. I think that says it all. So what happens is that I get his ILok account number and transfer the license back and he refunds my paypal payment. And I have wasted a considerable amount of time by dealing with him.

I think the above story talks for itself. And furthermore I had to wait and wait for his responses. He was very slow to answer. But not when he wanted the license back of course .

I wouldn't deal with him if I were you. And the worst thing is - that I had a bad feeling of this from the beginning but ignored it. That's the real lesson to learn.
