sounds cool. A usable guitar sound. Your Peavey?
Ah, ah, another comment from Fritzman I don't get :D (but at least you give some feedback, thanks).

What Peavy are you talking about ? That will tell me if it is meant as a compliment :?

Sounds nice, although, it may be lacking a bit more distortion. I would EQ it quite differently but it is a matter of taste. Maybe it has been played on a lower output pickups? Sounds retro to me, like late 80's extreme metal bends guitars.

Ouch
Passive pickups, true, if that is what you meant about the output level.
I would use more distortion too ;).
Maybe the riffs in the original song are a bit retro on their own.

But I'd like some insight as to how you would EQ it.

Not that I am a scientist in EQ-ing  It is just that it sounds a bit...hollow, I don't know. You have maybe already heard some of my clips so you know how I like it to be. It is retro in a sense that it reminds me to guitars I have heard at that time, the way distortion was handled then. Can't point out to one band but a lot of bands, from Possesed to Exodus had sound that your clip somehow reminds me.
:)
So again, not that I would call it wrong, just different. I don't know what bands and sounds you like anyway.

Oh,

sorry cheul. I mixed you up with zeoy who owns a Peavy Bravo. I thought it was that amp.
You could give me the tracks and I would eq it to get you a better guitar sound.
BTW, what did you use?

All the best, FRitz

Wich Ampsim ?

It's no hardware (pod or v-amp...), only software !

10 seconds of knobs tuning..

:hihi:
Maybe I'm wrong .. but it could be Guitar Rig 2, it isn't? tell us
I like that guitar sound in your clip.

zeoy wrote:Now that's the real chalenge Rene (at least IMHO). Make a real good clean or clean to crunch model and finish them all! You already have done a great job with hi gain sounds.
However if you don't want to spend your time on something you don't like and/or it's maybe not so popular that's totally understandable.

Just my 2 cents
Let me first finish another few heavy amp models first,
than I do the cleaner ones.

The engine had changed too much, I need to modify it again for great clean/crunchy results. ;)

Here is your chance !

Please name 5 "Drive" amp models you would like to see in the Soundspectral amp sim.

The 5 most wanted will be included !

As you might know by now,
those amps will be as real as it can get.

(not just a fancy gui that plays with your imagination, but does not deliver punishment. :hihi: )
