Eventide is one of my favorite companies.

I’ve owned some of their software effects, but I think this is the first piece of Eventide hardware I’ve ever owned…and I’m loving it!!!

It’s instant bliss in a box for my synths. I bought it secondhand and it just arrived today so I’m still waiting for Eventide to transfer the registration and unlock the editor app, but they’re on it!

I'm guessing 2nd hand market is pretty decent after the H90 release? I've always wanted an H9 too and keep thinking it's strange I haven't caved in yet. Might need to fix that.

Yeah, I’ve always sorta wanted one, and the prices started dropping, so I started watching them closely until I found this one. It’s in basically new condition with the box and everything that came with it and I snagged it for less than the average going price of a beat-up one without the power supply. The seller said he hardly used it and just wanted it to go to a good home, so win-win! I’ve only been going through the presets and playing with the looper so far, but I can already tell this and my Heat +FX is going to complete my outboard effects needs.

Now, my problem is trying to figure out if it’s pronunciation rhymes with “Seventide” or “Steventide”

Those other people are wrong. If in doubt, visit the Eventide YouTube channel and see how THEY pronounce their own name. It's their name, and they're the ultimate reference for how to pronounce it.

That said, "F'n Tide" would have been an awesome company name.

I’ve never spoken the name aloud but from now on if I ever do say Eventide out loud I’ll say it incorrectly on purpose just like I do with the names of countries.

Always remember, Moog rhymes with Rogue.

That's why they named one of their synths the "Moog Rogue", to get that cool rhyme happening.

And remember, that's Rogue, not Rouge. They make synths, not cosmetics.
