Not yet, sorrybuzz1 wrote: Sun Jun 01, 2025 11:25 am Is SM3 multicore enabled? This would be especially useful in standalone mode.

I just noticed if I click on the pencil icon to go into the Waveform Editor screen for preset "DRM Battle YY", then X out of it without making any changes, it switches to a Custom Waveform (similar look of a sine).
I think if you don't do anything to edit that, e.g. if you landed there by mistake, then it shouldn't make a change like that. It should go back to the white noise waveform that was they before. I guess I could use the Undo button, but that's just my two cents.

Also just noticed in this preset, it seems the pattern isn't showing how many notes are actually being triggered for the "Tek" part. I soloed that part of the preset to hear it better.
If I magnify that screen (for the Tek part), then it plays what's in there, i.e. what I see on the screen. When I close that magnified view, it switches back to the other pattern.
EDIT: I sent in a support ticket for this.

Good move getting Dash Glitch involved. I'll be checking out his videos with interest- he presents this stuff well and often reveals some interesting little tricks with his tutorials.

We have a new update for SynthMaster 3: v3.3.3
This updates has the following bug fixes:
1. SynthMaster 3 expansions show up as SynthMaster 2 expansions on the preset browser scree
2. SynthMaster 3 might crash when loading a preset with custom host parameters assigned
3. SynthMaster 3 should use <public documents>/Documents folder when DAW doesn't have access to user's Documents folder
4. When data files are written under <public documents>/SynthMaster3 folder, they should be accesible by all computer users

Honestly really useful- for me, I'm good with synthesis but have limited experience making multisampled instruments so this is great. I've got a few different collections of samples recorded from my various hardware with the intention of creating big multisampled instruments but the learning curve seems pretty steep. But I started throwing together an instrument in SM3 yesterday based on this video- awesome stuff.

Checked out the latest build 16284 and Granular OSC has really obnoxious behavior with grain direction now, where the start point of the reversed grains isn't the same as the forward ones (determined by position + rnd position) but seems offset by 2x "length"? Often this puts it beyond the end of the sample and there's apparently no wrap-around so the backwards grains don't play at all.
Having control over the reverse offset wouldn't be a bad idea, but i can't find any control, so it's basically impossible to make the directions overlap.
I don't remember that being a thing in older versions.

Let me double check this. I have not changed anything regarding the granular oscillator recently.

Hi Bulent, did you check out this preset to see what I meant? I just thought it was weird what was happening and thought I'd report it.Examigan wrote: Sun Jun 01, 2025 7:10 pm Also just noticed in this preset, it seems the pattern isn't showing how many notes are actually being triggered for the "Tek" part. Hi there,
I am building a simple 4 op FM synth and I ran into an issue that only seems affect the standalone version. I got the latest update installed, by the way.
I start with an init patch, add a modulator to the routing screen. This first modulator is automatically attached to Osc 1, and you can't remove this 'cable'. It's not doing anything, though. To get any modulation out of it you have to drag another 'cable' on top of it. Not a big issue once you know it, but it took me about 40 mins and a lot of adding/deleting stuff to figure this one out, and I am 100% sure I will forget about it in a month. I guess the simplest solution is not to do any auto-connecting.
Tried the same in Cubase: no auto-connecting, no problem.
Really weird that it behaves differently based on the environment.
Cheers!
