You guys are going to LOVE the presets. Oops...think I said that already. :P

@Paul: Got your message man....sorry, was decorating the tree with all the little JD bottles I had laying around the house. :hihi: I'll hit you with a mail tomorrow. ;)

Peace 8)
Hey Frank
Cool....are they full or empty JD bottles? ;-) or need i ask?

Did you check out Gregs' MP3s above your post? I also have another one I will post soon from AlanB that uses factory presets.

Not yet, but very soon.
i was joking actually, i thought it was out months ago, maybe i was confusing it with another Many product :?

Hi Dave
Great to see you around here as I have missed your regular "Kriminal style" humor and input lately.
I think though, I recall you saying you would not be online much.

Hope the kids and all that real world stuff are going well for you. Merry Krimbo Xmas. (perhaps a bit early, but, ... bahhhhh)

BTW, back on topic, I have 2 new Mp3 Demo tracks of ManyOne from AlanB. I'll post them as soon as I get the final mix from him. His tracks really show off the Hardware style sound of ManyOne and make great use of the filters and FX. Great stuff Alan!

And the release of the product is coming as soon as Aldo rebuilds the installers. As I explained earlier we discovered a minor bug right at release moment, so decided to fix it first, thus Aldo had to fix the bug and also redo all his work on the Mac and PC installers etc. Fingers crossed that on release we now have a Bug free product, just like our past release of ManyGuitar. (Which since release has had "No" bugs discovered other than a minor mixer strip naming issue in a couple hosts. That's pretty sweet if I do say so myself for a Version 1 release of a product ;-) )

Almost there guys.

Hello Paul,
since you are around right now, I'd want to ask a question : what is the advantage to get Manyone for Eve 2 and Manystation owners (like me) ?
Don't misunderstand me : I don't mean that there is no, just that I'm a bit confused and unsure about what I read here and there (and I'm too busy to read the entire thread with its xxx pages !)
From what I gathered, there are no new samples or sounds, just redesigned presets, plus a new gui, and some converted presets from W3 (which I own too).... or did I get it wrong ?
Please could you briefly sum up what is new and fresh for people who get all the aforementioned stuff ?
It would help clear up ideas, mine at least !
Thanks in advance,
best

Hi
You basically summed it up, but you said:
"there are no new samples or sounds, just redesigned presets"

Well not redesigned but rather New presets as EveOne did not have any. There is also a redesigned Sound Wizard and a new FX Wizard. The new sounds come in the form of the FreeZone, which you already have access to via ManyStation, but for new customers or some of the old EveOne users this is a bonus. There are no converted presets from W3 though.

For you it would be just a different way to use your WusikSND collection. Extremely Low CPU and fast to use. GUI all on one page and different and new FX than the other instruments you mention. Also the whole instrument has been recoded and rebuilt since it was EveOne. The new GUI looks great.

We don't expect all the guys that own ManyStation or WusikStation to want this, but we know there are plenty that do. I think mainly though ManyOne is for New Customers who do not have a Sample Player and want that Classic Hardware sound, and for those that want a quick and easy to use, Low CPU WusikSND player. Oh yeah .... and the Low Cost makes it pretty affordable. ($37.95 Intro price)
Thanks

Thanks Paul,
a few more questions then....
- when you say that CPU is really low, you mean really much lower than Wuzikstation 3 and/or Eve2 ?
- ManyOne would play all my wuzik/Eve presets without having to do any kind of conversion first ?
- are all the other Eve/MT banks I have bought separately (mellotronix, fs1, manyguitars, etc...) fully compatible too ?
- I thought that xgrade was $9.95, not $37.95. Was I wrong, or is $37.95 the price for full version buyers ?

Hi

Yes i think cpu is lower on ManyOne. At least that is the results I have had here so far and comments we have had from Beta testers. ManyStation and WusikStation are Low CPU usage as well but as they have a bit more behind the hood and are capable of more modulations etc. there will sometimes be higher cpu usage.

ManyOne will play your soundsets from all other Wusik and Dash sounds but not the presets that were specific to the original instrument. But all soundsets will show up in the gui and load.

Again the soundsets only ...not the presets will load... So yes you can load all your ManyGuitar Soundsets in ManyOne if you wish.

The upgrade for EveOne owners is $9.95 if you own accesss to our Freezone already. $19.95 if you don't have any ManyTone Instruments. Again ...this is because you guys already own EveOne. (Not Eve or Eve 2 but Eve One... the difference is described a page or so back in this thread.)

Yes $37.95 is the full price (Intro special) for those customers who do not own EveOne already.

I'll be away from the puter for the next few hours so if you have any other questions I will answer them later.

Thanks

So if you have Manystation, Manyguitar, and Wusikstation, but not Eve One, buying Manyone will get you new samples (the Eve One samples) plus this new player with low CPU and enhanced effects capability.

As I remember, Eve One's forte is EP's and other vintage keys. Is that about right?

Hi 2ndStringer

You got it right. Soundset list is on our site and is mostly real classic hardware samples.
Owning ManyGuitar gets you it for $29.95.

Eve One Owners - I am just about to send your emails out with the information on your special offers. I'll post back here once I do, and include details of what to do if you do not receive the special mailing.

Yesterday, I was fooling around so much with my vast collection of Wusik and DASH sounds,I forgot to even look at the presets included. Big mistake! They're pretty impressive!

Of course the major merit of this gizmo is that you can 'wizard' your way to nice sounds as well, but the presets are nevertheless kinda cool.

Hi Guy

First Funxi - Thanks again, The presets are pretty decent yes, but the cool thing is that the fxb preset bank becomes a whole new way to get fast new sounds by switching your soundsets around there. So load a preset and switch out the soundset to others and you now have endless possibilities fast, other than the Wizards. Of course you know this though.... but basically the preset bank can be an extension on the Wizards.

So.... I have also Emailed all the Eve One users with the upgrade info. If you have not received this email with your info there is a few reasons for this.
1) some emails bounced back as your email has changed since you purchased Eve One.

2)Some emails may go to spam boxes.

So ... Eve One Owners - if you have not received the Eve One to ManyOne email from us, then just email me with your EveOne purchase receipt or tell me your original email you purchased Eve One with and I will resend you the mail with your upgrade offers.

Again the thread about ManyOne in the instruments has more ifo.
It is here for those interested:

Hey Paul,

I wanted to tell you that I worked with ManyOne Last night on a track I needed to have done this morning for a national account radio ad. I installed it, inserted it into acid, used the wizard to pick out a funky wurli sound and fattened with the overdrive, then recorded the "sweetening" track. It just dont get easier than that. The sound was just fine, and as I own Manytone and Wusik Platinum, the pick list is phenomenal! You have one extremely happy customer!

Btw, any news on updates to the Freezone? Also Any updates to when we can expect an update to ManyStation. Its gettin a bit long in the tooth, compared to Wusikstation at 3.09e... just asking.

Keep up the GREAT work!
