It's not about the money, it's about the value. And value is a subjective thing.martinjuenke wrote:Omnisphere is faaaarrr too expensive!
Certainly, in my case, the value gained from so many years of enjoyment makes it one of the cheapest things that I've ever bought

I agree. As one of my earliest synths (2014) given how much I have used it since, it's been quite a bargain. But then that's going to depend on how much use one has for it, or any synth for that matter.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:It's not about the money, it's about the value. That's probably a bit much in that box though. Of course, you are going to want to turn the effects down a bit in winter, most patches are too wet to maintain a nice cozy atmosphere in a box that size.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:It also has a burning pianovurt wrote:omnisphere has such warm pads

I read all your comments and the more I read them, the more it tempts me this Omnisphere 2.
It is true that for the pads, plucks, strings, atmosphere, it is exceptional.
As for the effect part and its arpeggiator.
A sacred Vst and concerning the price, it is certe high, but, considering its quality of exception, the price is justified.

I think it´s interesting that your never see anybody sell Omnisphere. Every other plugin is sold here in the market place every now and then, but i can´t remember to see anybody sell Omnisphere. Might be the 50$ license transfer as well, but people don´t seem to get "tired" of Omnisphere or think another synth would be a better replacement. I don´t own Omnisphere but am looking around to get it second hand on different market places but i can´t find it anywhere.

I agree that Ghetto plays the fool quite a bit around here, but that's a bit strong, no?pdxindy wrote:It's a fire retard...ghettosynth wrote:That's probably a bit much in that box though. I know it was a little cheap, but I'm saving up for Omnisphere 3

After Ghettosynth is neutralised with witty commentary, I take over to play the fool:
a) Omnisphere cost 2.5 times of LogicPro including Alchemy...
b) If you try to cover all, you won‘t excel in anything...

Forgetting that they are not comparable, so what?martinjuenke wrote:a) Omnisphere cost 2.5 times of LogicPro including Alchemy...
It's true on one hand, and yet Omnisphere excels in a few thingsmartinjuenke wrote:b) If you try to cover all, you won‘t excel in anything...
