I'm in a random-sharing-mood... here's a sax like patch.

Following your lead! Here's my tuba, in case anyone wants to do a sax/tuba duet

Haha, awesome! The sax fits right in there, and honestly, you don't hear enough tuba ensembles on 7th chord backup these days

Those patches make me want to do some ModulAir Supply!
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

HAHAHA! That's AWESOME, hahaha! You might want to add some mild tremolo and/or vibrato to the sax, BUT DAMN, brother, that has some MOST excellent moments!!!
Fantastic!
Here's something else that's fun, too, but still needs more careful exploration... simple Harp!

Which begs the pertinent question - how on earth could a band who called themselves "Air Supply" never have a horn section? All Out of Air? Making Air Out of Nothing At All??TheNeverScene wrote: Wed Nov 21, 2018 8:27 pm Those patches make me want to do some ModulAir Supply!

You're right, they didn't. Just checked out some youtube and only minimal horns on some tunes. Now I can't unhear that search! lolschiing wrote: Wed Nov 21, 2018 8:34 pmWhich begs the pertinent question - how on earth could a band who called themselves "Air Supply" never have a horn section? You're welcome! Always happy to spread some wussy musical vibes. I bet that's why they never had a horn section, too - those gentle ditties couldn't TAKE a horn section!TheNeverScene wrote: Wed Nov 21, 2018 8:44 pmYou're right, they didn't. Haha! I'll listen to some mellow stuff, but Air Supply makes Abba sound like Black Sabbath.

Here's a trick for you, Rob.
I've added an LFO to it, controlled by an envelope to delay the vibrato/tremolo before it kicks in. This will help, BUT ideally you add mod.wheel control. Now, I still don't have a mod.wheel anymore, which is why I can't dial it in, but if you understand the Voltage processor and all that, you'll know what to do, including a potential adjustment of the decay speed for that dualEnv A, which delays the LFO.
Pretty easy to let this sound pretty darn fun!

LITTLE "complaints/(big)requests":
Pitch Wheel interpolation! Currently using the pitch wheel to control things like volume lead to crackles, since it's not interpolated during buffer processing. Doesn't take up too many processing cycles, I think, but makes a massive difference in potential!
Comb Filter Init/Flush. This one is trickier, because I'm not even sure how best to implement this, but one problem these things, including the Delay effect, have is that their buffers won't flush after a note has released. Worse and probably wider than just those buffer matters are, is something like a cache of sorts, which appears associated with keys that were triggered earlier. It's like there is a cache or buffer per note somewhere, which won't reset until after it was hit again or so... leads to very difficult editing moments among other things.
There are things to be desired, which may seem like small changes or additions, but would boost this little beasty to a whole new level. I'm thrown back and forth in the process of working with it, but there are some fantastic moments I'm having and they are worth the troubles in between.
