So... first off: not everyone making music defaults to a dude. Crazy fact here:rezoneight wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 2:46 pmThe horse is dead here dude. Complain where it counts. You want sympathy here and your sympathy quota is over-extended.LKBorg wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 1:57 pmThe horse isn't dead until the last Karen has spoken to the manager or I get a refund on my money and then rebuy it all on a substantial discount during summer-black friday-whatever sale, which will make Arturia "loose" even more money (If we all were really to believe in companies loosing money by selling discounted overpriced plugins in the first place).rezoneight wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 1:32 pmFeel for you but the horse is dead.LKBorg wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 1:00 pm
Plus this initial sale made me get more and addition with the rest I spend around 1000 bucks on Arturia in those two weeks. A little more customer friendliness with this sudden update (grace period) would be more than fair here. Don’t you think?
By this measure I should be getting the update for like $49 because i've had V Collection since v4 plus own a bunch of other Arturia stuff including hardware. Just doesn't work that way for them.
there are women making music too and we also know how to use the internet (shocking, I know!)
And a tldr to the story: no, the horse is alive and well, and thx to the nice Arturia support (tbf here, they are indeed 1000x more friendly in their communication than the folks over at IK Multimedia [and yes I would have said the same after their first replies yesterday which weren't solving the issue]), they did offer some form of grace period, also given that I gave them a whole grand of bucks in just two weeks and the case is now solved to all sides satisfaction I guess.
Since at least one person from Arturia is reading this: I can only imagine how someone feels who bought V8 a few days ago for a full price and is now asked for another big couple of bucks. Be like other companies and offer a fair grace period pls!
cheers
