Mulab 9.2.17 and mulab 9.2.16 (App), with Dune v3

When opening the Dune 3 interface it is sometimes not working properly (...) Interested to know if anyone else can verify these issues?

Yes, I noticed that too (MuLab 9.2.17 Plugin - Mux containing Dune 3). Closing and Opening MuLabs GUI makes things better but it doesn't solve the arrows issue:

EDIT: I found the same problem with Dune 2. Also, I remember MuLab 9.2.7 (Improved VST Engine) didn't work with Predator 3 (it was fixed later on) so I checked again - most of the GUI elements are blank now (MuLab 9.2.17):

For me, if it works properly on loading the first instance, create another new instance on the next track, if that is fine load another on next track and so on, until one loads with no patch name displayed in its window.
Usually it only takes two or three before problem occurs. (then the ones loaded earlier often have the same issue too)

Can't do it right now (currently I'm on 9.2.11), but you can try this:

1. Load Dune 3 into your rack slot, open the GUI, click arrow to cycle the presets - it should work fine
2. Remove Dune from the rack slot
3. Go to the Plugin Manager, find dune 3, right click and select "Rescan"
4. Load Dune 3 into rack slot again and open the GUI - this is when the issue appears in my case.

Not sure what's causing it, but I have had MuLab freeze and the Play button stop working when I leave MuLab untouched for some time.
For example, I opened a project, and some VST's then my son watched a film on the PC, after which MuLab was non responsive, but slowly it started showing the focus rectangle when hovering over parts of the interface, but the Play button refuses to respond.
Don't suppose you have any ideas on the cause?
I'll investigate further in case it's a VST causing it.

EDIT: It's only the buttons between Play and Record that have stopped working. The MULAB and PROJECT buttons work ok as do the butttons and controls to the right of the Record button.

That bug will be fixed in the next M9.2.18.

I'm in touch with Rob Papen about it.

What is "some time"? An hour? A day?

Did you change audio settings on your PC to watch the film.
MuLab does not support a change of audio setup except while its Audio Setup dialog is open.

Most probably the audio engine has halted for some reason, eg unexpected change in audio setup.
You can check the audio engine via right-click cpu meter -> Audio Engine Stats.

• Internal screen recorder: Difference in frame rate issue fixed.
• MuLab App for Mac: When a modal dialog was open, it was still possible to "Quit MuLab" via the Mac menu bar. Fixed.

Yes, Predator 3 can be tricky, I had some serious problems with older versions and stopped using it for a while. I just installed Mulab 9.2.18 update and everything seems to be working fine, thanks!
