Zebralette Zebralette 3

Post

I welcome if people use Zebralette to create waveforms for other synthesisers. That's why we added the Serum info chunk to the exported .wav.

Of course I would not mind if people then also give Zebralette credit for that.

In the end however, there's more to it than just wavetables. Even if it was just about the editors, my reasoning is, if talented sound designers discover Zebralette to do wavetables for whatever other synths, they'll soon enough discover the possibilities of the MSEGs as well. But those have no equivalent to port to other synths... except Zebra 3, when it's ready :hihi:

Thrilled to know that the GUI system now supports svg images!
This will dramatically improve the compatibility with large screens :)
Also, editing resources has become much easier—You can open the svg files and directly edit colors, etc. What a great decision!

You can also recolour SVGs in our UI editor and script file.

Didn't find a thread for enhancement requests, so here we go:

1) Make the master volume knob work quadric instead of linear, so that boosting patches (which are often very quiet in volume) can be made +12 db instead +6 db when going from 100 to 200.

2) Please use a default key transpose of 0 instead of -12 like most (non-uhe) synth do.

I never even imagined to have such feature!
Making color variations for a skin must be super-easy by utilizing this

I don't known if they all work as expected... we haven't really used much of these...

A bit of nitpicking/feedback, that applies to a lot of synths, really.
When scrolling up a control that is already on the upper part of the interface, the mouse cursor often reaches the end of screen too early. (fine tune/curve morph) and why cant i screenshot windows cursor?^^
Not a big deal, but i've seen other synth allowing for infinite? scrolling, so edge of screen isn't an issue.
Other than that fantastic synth. Looking forward to the finished product.

MTS-ESP is already supported in this beta.
Big thanks for that by the way! Makes it way more enjoyable to test this since it plays nice with all the other tools I use. Very grateful! <3

Looking forward to testing this later. Nice GUI from first view.

Hi, some typos in the user manual:
Page 11: onb the left -> on the left
Page 12: if Voices is 2 or hihger -> if Voices is 2 or higher
There was a third one but I'm not able to re-find.

The new Zebralette 3 interface looks great!

One question: how would you like us to provide UX feedback?

fyi, I'm a UX designer and noticed some "low hanging fruit" issues that should help with low vision accessibility.

I will admit that I've never tried Zebra 2 or Zebralette before. This synth is really cool!
I will play around more when I have time - and follow this thread. When the "full" Zebra 3 is ready - will it be like this but with more Oscillators? That's amazing because this is pretty cool as it is - with only the one! ;)
