Correct... MSEG's don't free loop.animula42 wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 9:01 pm Hi, congrats! Great job on the synth.
Question, is there no way to make the MSEGs free looping?
You need to use an LFO for that.

You can "hack" it by change MSEG Trigger from poly to single and then to make it continous by each new chord tied with previous. That means, notes need to overlap to not make a MSEG reset.animula42 wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 9:01 pm Question, is there no way to make the MSEGs free looping?
I am playing chords with looping MSEG modulating stuff and I'm automating the looping speed ... But each time I play new chords the MSEG restarts and doesn't sound continous.
Thank you.
In the meantime, you can draw a shape in a Mapper and use a free running LFO to scan through it.animula42 wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 11:30 pm Tried that already but not exactly working 100% right. I think I tried all combinations of settings also.
Well, now we know another future feature requestat least one LFO with custom shape (draw it in like MSEGs) or free running MSEGs.
They can moan that the software is nearly unusable because the gui is the wrong shade of grey or not green or whatever color they desire, I can point out it's not so bad and will get better in time. There is no problem here.Teksonik wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 12:18 pmNo, what's happening is that people expressed their opinions about a product. The fact that you got triggered and started calling them names is the salient point and the problem.VitaminD wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:14 pm I called people male karens because it was humorous in that karens are known to complain to management.
And you're whining about someone whining about people that are whining. Shall we continue? I hope you see the irony too..
I wasn't just referencing the person who complained about needing a light skin. There were a cornucopia of gui peoples asking for conflicting things. Really just wait for a few weeks, I'm sure something will turn up. Not just a white skin but the green skin requested probably many more. No need to go on and on about it. Which was my point. The synth was just released. Wait for things to gel. It's 3.0 -- .0 being the key part. Every dot release is going to make what is fantastic somehow even better. Just wait!Teksonik wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 12:18 pmThey were saying that the current dark default is hard on their eyes. Would you say "get over it" if the theme was hard on your eyes? You're being far more entitled than anyone who has a problem with the dark GUI. As long as you don't have a problem with it no one else should? Do you get it now?VitaminD wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:14 pmPeople were saying they'd effectively have to suffer through using it because the gui didn't look as they desired. And I say get over it.
You have a lot of experience in being positive contributions to threads viewtopic.php?p=8675142#p8675142
Yeah... ever since you mentioned that direct modulation slots used less cpu, I figured, why not add them in the places where there is already room... like LFO Slew and Symmetry.
You’re mixing up default values with the values stored in presets.krowtoh wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 2:32 pm I just grabbed a random preset and moved the Filter 1 cutoff. Pretending I don’t like the change I made, I wanted it to go back to where it was when I first loaded the preset.
As Urs said, please contact our support.ultrashall wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 6:06 pm Update: I've tested Zebra 3 now with the VST-host "Cantabile" and here it works well. So it seems to be a Cubase-related problem.
There is no problem here either. As I said I've already created over 100 patches for Z3 so the current UI and workflow is fine for me. But I realize there are other people who do have a problem. That's called "empathy".
I was pushing back against you needlessly calling people names. You were just being a smart a$$. I hope you see the difference.VitaminD wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:14 pm And you're whining about someone whining about people that are whining. Shall we continue? I hope you see the irony too.
Again we get the painfully obvious part about "it's just been released". Everyone gets that. But that doesn't help the people who are having problems now. So they should just not use Z3 and "wait for a few weeks" for some solution to their concerns? Or months? Should they move on and buy something else?VitaminD wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:14 pm I wasn't just referencing the person who complained about needing a light skin. You went all the way back to 2023 and that's all you could find? I'm disappointed your obsession was so fruitless. Did you understand the context of those posts? Did you find all the posts where I helped people or posted free presets etc? Did I call anyone a "Male Karen" in any of those threads? Sure I've posted controversial stuff in the past and will almost certainly do so in the future because I don't kiss anyone's a$$ but that doesn't absolve you from being an a$$hole in this case.VitaminD wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 9:14 pm You have a lot of experience in being positive contributions to threads.
