Have you got an update for us ?

I'm insuring every sample is in perfect tune... doing the final touches and stuff now. I've already made a bunch of songs using it, so even at this state it's usable. Just insuring that it's the best it can be. (and I'd hate for someone to complain, oh the G artificial harmonic is out of tune!)

EDIT: I work on the bass every day, just so you know I'm not lazy or it's not dormant. :)

Hi guys, just thought I'd give you a nice little update!

The Ultimate Bass Kit is nearly complete. A few details need to be sorted out before the release, but hopefully it'll be out within a week if everything goes as planned. The Ultimate Bass Kit is being published by Paul Brown of Manytone Music and will be available in both Soundfont and Manystation format. Paul has been guiding me in the development and finalization of the UBK, and I'm proud to say it's a much better product now.

I replaced several samples in the lower register of different soundsets that had strange fret buzz sounds (these got annoying if you're chugging on a single note), and Paul caught a bunch of out-of-tune notes. In fact, we went over every single sample in the soundsets and made sure it was precisely in tune.

It also comes with an extensive manual thanks to Simon Cann (who also authored the Manystation manual).

Any day now, we'll be getting up an official webpage with details and MP3 demos (if you thing the demos I posted here are realistic, just you wait!).

Thank you for your patience! You guys are going to love the Ultimate Bass Kit, I can assure you.

And waiting! :hihi:

So, does a user get both Manystation and SF2 formats on the same license?

Hi Guys

The license for a single format (Soundfont or ManyStation) is $29.99
or
You can though Get Both Formats for $34.99.
Or
On a CD with shipping, (we include Both formats on the cd version) it is $44.99

Greg has put a few extra sounds and layers in the sets since he originally started, and this has become a pretty nice set of Bass samples. It is about 250 meg in Soundfont format. It really showcases the different styles of playing. What is cool about it is the sets were all recorded the same way, so you can blend the sets in One track and they sound like the same bass. I think one of Gregs latest Demos uses 5 sets or something like that. I will post that mp3 here very soon.
The webpage is pretty much ready, we are just finishing off a few things with the sounds and getting all the Links up. We expect to send out a Press release and have Product delivery within the week if all goes well.

As Greg said, we had Simon Cann do a fantastic little manual for it that shows all the mappings and describes the sets and also the playing styles. This will be a nice read as for getting the most out of these samples.

Won't be long now guys!

sound good. :)
i'm not sure to understand why both formats are a little more expensive. Does manystation use some wusik soundset (wusikSND)?
I will use it with wusikstation and eve one, and I think it's very easy to convert in other format.( I have make that with a lot of my soundfont)

Hi
You ask why it is more expensive for both formats...
It is only more on the Downloadable product because Bandwidth costs go up when users want multiple formats.
(The samples have to be Downloaded twice then)
So to keep the product price down we give you a choice. I think this was a fair solution.

As for the Wusik format ... ManyStation uses exactly the same format as WusikStation. The ManyStation version will load and work in WusikStation so Wusik users can grab this too. The ManyStation / WusikStation version comes with a small Bank of great Presets too. The Soundsets will also load into Eve One.
They will even load into Manytones New upcoming VSTi too :-)
Details on it soon.
I'll post that new mp3 as soon as i sort the links.
