So when can I have my Drum Direktor v2 please?

It was promised by end April the latest.
As soon as you answer my question to you on the AudioThing thread

Any opinion on the Diginoiz offer?

http://diginoiz.com/series/music-loops-bundle/

It seems to be 80% off the already 90% discounted bundle pice. I usually don't buy sample packs but with the sheer number of packs included that looks like the classic no-brainer.

The value of loops has really dropped over the past year. I picked up their one-shots bundle when it was on sale a month or so ago, and based what I've listened to so far, the quality has been good.

With a move like this, though, I wonder if they're going to jump on a subscription bandwagon soon.

I'm getting the impression that the arse has fallen out of the loops and sample-pack market.

Don't know about their arse, but the world is full of samples and loops, more is coming, and the old ones rotten in their hands (no matter how good the products are - many of them are not very good).

MOST are not very good. Everything is about sounding like the next one and not having anything creative to add. I've got stuff I made back in acid that sounds like something creative.

Was really hoping for Spiritoso or Animato. Ah, well. It's not like I need any of it.

I gave up on loops a while ago. About the time VST guitars started getting decent. Actually, before that. I got to the point I couldn't find loops that fit with my songs. Plus most of them seem to be aimed at EDM, which I don't do.

Had these on my radar for some time, and this offer was too good to pass on :)

There are not many sample libs so far of either OSCAR nor Prophet-600, so a nice addition to anybodys arsenal.

I think those were on sale a couple of weeks ago, so don't think they will show up again soon.

I don't buy "much" in the way of samples anymore but there are a couple of areas where I will still check out deals like this to see if they will work for me.

1) Good multisamples of interesting and offbeat instruments
2) Long acoustic drum takes/multitracks/midi (e.g. Loop Loft)
3) Vocals (especially female)

My take on this offer is that if they have anything for 1 or 2, I couldn't find it. So, I focused on their vocals offerings. What I heard all sounded rather similar and would really only fit in contemporary pop/EDM/R&B/trap kinds of production. I'd have no problem paying $60 for a half dozen vocal packs that had some variety and could be used in a house/techno context. They could even all be rather cliche in terms of what they're singing about.

My take, if you don't do trap, EDM, or other very contemporary styles, this isn't quite in no-brainer territory.

YMMV.

Send them an email. They were up for $30 each.

Ah, you are right. I checked my emails. They were on sale for $39.99. I was hoping for closer to $30. I guess the 3 for $99 might have been a good deal for those then. Ah well. Don't really need them. :borg:

Anyone know what the best prices & suppliers are for NuGen Halo Upmix and Iosono Anymix? In the market for a nice Upmix plugin. Any thoughts on those two, or any alternatives?
