Hey just got my hands on one of these.
Trying to use with sample lord. Im using an sf2 and sfz file format.
however when i put the usb on the v-machine, I am not seeing any of the folders as I scroll through the display.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks.
EDIT:
Just found out your USB key needs to be in FAT32, its reading it now, thanks!

That's a much better way to do it.
I still have one problem that's preventing from doing anything on the V-Machine with my own sounds.
I have sample lord installed.
I copy my giga files to the C:\Program Files\SampleLordSounds
I load up VFX and I create a new Bank.
I select the samplelord plugin and I insert a sound from my directory above.
I click on SaveMulti and I save a Sampleload Bundle to ....
Admin\Appdata\Roaming\vfx\vmachine\plugs\Samplelord\Sounds
Now I name my bank and preset in VFX and hit save.
I repeat the steps above an add 2 more sounds to preset 2 and 3.
I "Export Machine" to the USB memory stick and I insert it into the V-Machine.
I select my first sound and load it, and it works.
However the other two won't, I get an error saying can't find file.
Any idea's
If you look at the CHUNK FILES for each preset (use a text editor) you can see where exactly Sample Lord is trying to load the file from and the name of the file. Make sure these are correct (should be similar to preset 1 but with a different Sample Name).
Also you don't have to export the whole V-Machine, you could just copy the plugs and banks you want over to a stick.
Hi, I am getting this exact problem..none of my sounds load, they all say that it cannot find the file. What should be the directory i should see when I read the chunk file from a text editor?
Thanks.

You can open the chunk file in a normal text editor and have a look where it is pointing to, this will give you a good indication as to where samplelord is looking for the file.
Remember that Drive P in the v-machine is PLUGS directory both on the USB stick and internally.

If your an owner of a V-Machine the knowledge base is fast becoming a good place to visit to learn of new features or commonly asked questions by other users which have not yet made it into the latest version of the manual. If you still have questions then you can fill in a support ticket which can be seen and answered by staff members in different countries and time zones, it is the fastest way to get support directly from an expert.
Anyone who creates an account in the above website will get notified when the next software release is available to download.

The CPU upgrade will be around 2.3 times the current speed of the V-Machine, we had to wait for a new CPU to be available that can conform to our specifications of Wattage (heat output) used. It will also allow us to have upto 2gig or RAM on board. I will post some test figures as soon as i have them.(real world running VST plugins).delafuerte wrote:+3 +4 +5.......+N
It will be in upgrade to any existing V-Machine (old or new)
Cost around $150-175 (USD)
we will do some final testing towards the end of July with a plan to release it in Sep-Oct.
That is all the information which I can honnestly give you.
