There has been surprisingly little buzz about the Vstbuzz offer for the Hybrid Scoring Bundle by The Last Haven. If you are into this sort of thing, you should check it out. These libraries are really very well done.

Sample library review is here:
Really great stuff. Offer is available for another three days.

I was actually about the bump the VST buzz thread earlier today but in the end I didn't bother, cause it was probably going to drop off page 1 in no time at all.mgw38 wrote:There has been surprisingly little buzz about the Vstbuzz offer for the Hybrid Scoring Bundle by The Last Haven. It's amazing how little interest there are on KVR for anything TV/film related or sample libraries on the whole.
Every time Samplecast and Samplelibraryreview posts something there's pretty much zero replies.

VI Control forum is the place for these kind of products.Armadillo wrote:I was actually about the bump the VST buzz thread earlier today but in the end I didn't bother, cause it was probably going to drop off page 1 in no time at all.mgw38 wrote:There has been surprisingly little buzz about the Vstbuzz offer for the Hybrid Scoring Bundle by The Last Haven. Saw the videos, not impressed.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Just find it odd that KVR, which is supposed to be the place for all things virtual instrument related, has no interest in anything to do with strings, flutes, ethnic percussion, trailer sounds etc.

kvr is it's own special place for virtual instrument related topics.
I've come to the conclusion, it's not as cutting edge as it used to be.

I also think the issue is every offer is around 99.99. The same is with Audio Plugin Deals.Armadillo wrote:I was actually about the bump the VST buzz thread earlier today but in the end I didn't bother, cause it was probably going to drop off page 1 in no time at all.mgw38 wrote:There has been surprisingly little buzz about the Vstbuzz offer for the Hybrid Scoring Bundle by The Last Haven. I wouldn't say that there's no interest, but, I think that this site is dominated by hobbyists. Yes there are professionals here, but the distribution among posters is slanted towards those of us who don't do music professionally. Point being, most of us aren't much interested in soundtrack or trailer production.Armadillo wrote:I have been a member of VI Control for over 10 years.Ryan99 wrote:[

Also, as someone else pointed out, they're typically $100. Yeah, I'm sure that they're great, but, that's going to thing the crowd as well.

You mean it's too pricey for the average KVR user?kitekrazy wrote:I also think the issue is every offer is around 99.99. Well, I was more referring the fact that there's an incredible lack of interest of sample libraries for a community who claims to be interested in all things virtual instrument related.

speaking for myself, 2 things... i really haven't used samples for about 15 years.
and i have a 256GB hard drive, so it's kind of out of the question.
plus, i just like synths. I'm not really interested in samples at all. for now,

I kinda like sample libraries, but too many can be too much, so I'm looking at those that are really worthwhile. Some of these $99 deals are stunning. If you know their normal prices, even sale prices, you can get the best libraries at one third or less.
