Aren't UAD coupons always non-stackeable?

Yeah, these are generic codes that are the same for everyone. But your UAudio account has to have the codes active, so someone who doesn't already qualify can't use them. So there's no harm in sharing them. It could be useful to someone who qualifies but threw out their email (like me), since UA no longer shows you your active coupons when you check out, ever since the site update.

I agree. I just needed two after checking the available options* and went with UAD Custom 2 Bundle for $74. After the purchase, I received a $25 voucher.

Typically, buying/upgrading to Signature Edition provides the best value (* I have V2) if you want a lot of UA plugins. But I still couldn't resist the $74 deal. I hope I won't want V3 upgrade in the future. V3 may arrive towards end of the year.

I’ve been considering the Custom 2 Bundle to get A-type, but I don’t have anything else to get except for Anthem, and I’m not sold on it, so I’m wondering if I should just wait until A-type is $39 or less by itself.

I like the way drive is pre-filter. It squares off the triangle oscillator just enough to make it poke through. The drive just sounds great, too. Also, I love that it has a smooth random LFO, I set it slow and use it to add variation when I'm looping a part.

I haven't been able to duplicate its sound with Diva, Repro-1, or the UA Minimoog.

I purchased a cheap bundle of UADx plugins a while back and have a couple of their freebe's, for the most part they are nice plugins but have a couple of glaring issues that are hard to get around.
The blurry GUI's on initializing a plugin and the incessant UA Connect trying to reinstall. It will stop a session mid-track to ask for permission to reinstall!
I have an iLOK key and went through an extended session with UAD support with no real resolution.
It seems that not everyone has these issues' but from this post I am not the only one.
It just seems odd to me that they (UAD) seems to think this is acceptable.

Well, your situation is not everyone and it's not as widespread as a handful of forum posts would lead you to believe (there are TONS of folks using this stuff just fine). I for one have had no issues since day 1 with any of their native plugins, not with iLok (after 10 years even) or with UA Connect. The shit just works here and has become my go to set of tools every single time.

I'm going through the exact same thing. Support has no clue, and this has effected a lot of people. My two posts on Reddit asking for help were deleted. Ever since the last update, UA Connect has some issue with Windows permissions. If I start iLok before starting UA Connect, it takes a few senconds for Connect to begin reinstalling the program. Then, it may work. It's a crap shoot. Sometimes Connect will still throw an error, and I have to restart my machine.

Just doing this to get their plugs out of my projects and save myself the hassle. If you look back through posts on social media, this is an on again/off again issue depending on their updates to Connect.

...Are you really sure that you updated your UADx plugins using their manager to the latest, non-ilok-cloud versions? Because here (macos), I can even now run all these plugins without an internet connection (disabling wlan and so on). Also check ilok license manager after update, make sure these are non-cloud licenses now.

The blurry fadein of the plugins only happened to me with the old ilok-cloud/stay-always-online versions.

And you don't need an ilok hardware key anymore. Might be even incompatible now. It's per-computer locally stored licenses.

I recently demoed a bunch of their plugins since they're having their sale and they are good, but there's still better options that don't require using ilok. I was mainly interested in the Minimoog and SSL bundle, but Arturia's new Min V4 is just as good and there's still not anything that touches Acoustica's Sand for SSL.

AFAIK, you can now use machine activation with UAD plugins.
